England National Team could play home matches outside of Wembley. Would the KC Stadium be considered? Would the KC be large enough? Would it spur the stadium expansion? http://prosoccertalk.nbcsports.com/...m-could-play-home-matches-outside-of-wembley/
They used our stadium once for a friendly with Serbia and Montenagro Our holds 32K which is around the minimum the FA look at.
It makes me feel sick that England are being kicked out there home ground so they can be NFL franchise. But the FA will probably earn more from NFL.
England should not be based in one stadium. They should tour, you know, like most major national teams do?
Looking at the recent matches, the majority have been in Paris, but they also played in Nice and Lille.
The NFL team isn't affecting the England home games, this move is being driven by the FA getting so much grief about England friendlies and the FA Cup semi-finals all being played at Wembley. The FA would rather keep them all at Wembley, they've generated a fortune through the current ten year debentures.
Hmm... Spain - Bernabeu Italy - Olympic Stadium, San Siro Germany - Allianz, Signal Iduna Park, Olympic Stadium Brazil - Maracana And that's for a start.
It appears you have no idea yourself, because the Bernabeu and two Olympic Stadiums are National Stadiums.
Sorry but that's complete balls, Italy move their fixtures right around the country. They even play in obscure places such as Udine and Bergamo.
Stade de France is France's national stadium, yet they play at other French stadia. The same goes for Argentina, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Chile, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, as previously mentioned Italy, Japan, Mexico, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Scotland, Switzerland, Turkey and Wales. All have national stadiums, all play at other stadiums as well as the national one. Erm... that's my point? The Olimpico is the national stadium but they don't always play there - this is the argument I'm trying to get across... Why did you merge two of my quotes together?
They won't use the Olympic Stadium in whole of 2014. They've played in Perugia, Bari, Palermo, Milan and Parma in 2014. The last time they played in Rome was August 2013 and the next game at the earliest will be March 2015 against England.
England should play at Wembley. Wembley is England's home. England should never play anywhere else. Maybe Hull City should play a few home matches in Plymouth this season?
