Thanks for updating the table... so 5 votes. 8 people alive. Missing 3... IBWT, Lucaaas, and Skylarker
First two were heavily involved in the dying moments of the last vote and Sky is a Freemason. Will be interesting to see how this goes, especially since we're all avoiding AFC and Sky as known innocents too.
Anyone placing a vote on me and sky is outing the self as KGB and the assassin has used his kills so it's quite an interesting situation. We are left with six people unconfirmed and half of you are lying bastard Russians!
Also, can milk confirm if people have to vote? I know in the last game Ebola was there to force people into voting. What is the situation today? We could go for a six way tie and it's 50/50 if we get a kgb kill, but if we all have to vote that isn't a possibility.
You are not required to vote, no. In most games I've played in the past people would not want to "not vote" because that was something that was seen as "suspicious, " as it was seen as not putting effort in to try and help the town. However, there are sometimes legitimate reasons why one would not want to vote. In this game. No, you are not required to vote. Watch the rules in future games though. It is possible that whoever runs the next game will require it. Usually if the rules in the first post do not specify HAVING TO VOTE, then you usually don't have to. (sometimes in some games you can also vote "no lynch")
So other than all being really shifty, can we actually hear from people what they are thinking? Who do you think is guilty, what theory do you have? Which three are the KGB, or what possible links can you see? I'd like to see what all six of you under suspicion have to say rather than lots of lurking, not much talking and the odd vote that people don't bother coming back to until seven o'clock We know that if one of lucaaas or IBWT is guilty, then the other is likely to be as well. If one is innocent then the other is likely to be as well. It is completely pointless if we end up putting them against each other. Talk more, let everyone know what your thinking. I'm quite happy to just lynch one of you last minute on a hunch if people aren't bothered to contribute to the game
I suspect Lucaaas purely because he questioned you and Sky being Freemasons despite no one else claiming otherwise and majority of us having already accepted it as fact. I've voted Danilo to keep the vote spread out, I want to see what Lucaaas, Biscan and Sky do (see post #1182) I agree with your theory of the two groups of three that voted differently last night. However, Magic pointed the finger at me prior to Astro voting for me since so I'm being attacked by my "own group"
Part of the reason I grouped into those three was that amongst those groups are people who have voted for each other in non dangerous situations but never when the other is up for the chop. Fully expected to see votes for each other within the two groups who voted together yesterday. I'm still not 100% set on those groupings, I can see ways that one or two of you could switch with a person from the other side. But I'll leave it at that and see how your all reacting
NOTE OF CAUTION In general the 50/50 6-way isn't bad, but on the other hand we do need some information going forward. If we hit a KGB the next round who is not the recruiter, they will probably recruit one of us tonight. AFAIK failed attempts don't count against them right? So, IF we kill a non-recruiter KGB then from tomorrow on we can no longer count sky and afc as known innocents.
Not sure what you mean by failed attempts: * If they asked to sign someone up but couldn't (because already had three people) - no that doesn't count as an attempt. * If they attempt to sign someone up but couldn't (because that person died before they had a chance to) - no that doesn't count as an attempt. If KGB were to try to recruit someone Mafia (or vice versa) - that WOULD could as a failed attempt (although that person would be killed). No Mafia left, so that last point is moot.
If we kill a KGB who isn't the recruiter then we can probably assume that one of myself or sky are the likely target for conversion. In my mind there are a few links forming between certain players and I feel that whether an innocent or KGB dies tonight I'll have a better idea of which people to go for. Astro, care to give any info on what your thinking? Who do you think is guilty? What theories have you got so far?
Yes so now the mafia are dead they can just hand a note for conversion every night in case one of them is hit. So they are instantly back to 3 people, sky and afc become unknowns and next round we have 3 KGB and 4 town Basically unless we hit the recruiter tonight we are losing a townie no matter what
