I suppose the telling thing for me is that both Rio and Arry have a limited time left in their current capacities (just to clarify, the ones the club is paying them for) so why now? Why not wait a couple of years and make that last chapter something especially victorious to finish on rather than giving the impression that they've already finished this particular chapter of their careers (no pun intended).

OK, I realise that Redknapp's is an anecdotal volume (101 stories from out a car window or musings while sat on a bench watching the world go by or whatever) but, from a man who doesn't know what he'll do next, he's cramming everything he could be doing after, into the time he's got left doing what he supposedly loves. Given that he must spend a few hours driving, he really can't be living and breathing the managerial role.

Keane was an absolute tramp on the pitch but I'd give anything for even one of our players to have 10% of his ability or desire.

The reason Ferdinand has been so distracted on the pitch is that he is mortified that Keane didn't mention the size of his prick in his autobiography. Even with the five millimetre tall number 5 that he has tattooed on it.

He's not doing a very good job. I opened the (Irish) Daily Mail today and there was a double page spread with a massive Redknapp column written after West Ham. It covered his footballing life story from his earliest days right up to the present. My missus (who knows F-all about football) seen it and said "I thought you do those things when you're retired?"

Cascarino had it right when he said he'd never seen as strange a Club as ours before when everyone's working for the media and the football's a side issue.

So there is a Mrs. Swords behind the man - first time you've mentioned that I believe?

No kids though? I recall your traumatic stories of visiting nephews & nieces buggering up your TV remote and issues attempting to install child seats into your car?

So many people come out with that ****e about 'Keane ended his career'. He didn't. Haland played on to the end in that match, also played a midweek game for Norway and another game the following week. Keane got his right leg, Haaland retired because of his left knee which was already giving him problems. Not saying what Keane did was right but people need to stop saying he ended his career.

You gonna write my autobiography Killy? Everyone else is doing it: Harry, Rio, Joey etc. Not a bad idea that...

Can I suggest the title "Forum is temporary, class is permanent"? Does that entitle me to a free copy? ;)
