Just thought I'd get in first before next Friday's announcement. He will be the only Watford manager sacked without having been in charge for a single game......
Serbia is not part of the EU so, presumably, he will have to get a work permit. Will that be straight forward?
With Serbia applying for membership of the EU and him working in Spain, I doubt that it will be a problem.
He worked in Spain for about 11 years (and his family has been there for longer) so he may have dual nationality.
He seems to know how to score the odd goal or two, or even three. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksGdngBhvGE
All that is required is a retrained, "Well played, Sir." The rot set in with David Coleman and his, "Extraordinary."
The great man speaketh: Luther Blissett believes Watford can win promotion this season despite the managerial upheaval at the club. Slavisa Jokanovic this week became the Hornets' fourth boss in six weeks, with Billy McKinlay's reign brought to an end after just eight days. Blissett described the situation at his former club as 'crazy', but he reckons they are still well set to reach the Premier League. Speaking on the Sports Bar, he said: "We are in a great position in the league at the moment and it is just a case of building on that. "The squad at the moment, without any injuries and suspensions, is good enough [to win promotion]. It's important we keep players fit and not lose key players. "Hopefully, he [Jokanovic] will settle in very quickly and we can be that team we have seen flashes of at the beginning of the season. "Automatic [promotion] would be ideal, and we are capable of doing that."
I noticed he played for Chelsea (not very well though) so that's 3 former Chelsea players we've had - all from overseas. So in a few years we'll get Drogba? On a serious note I did wonder what would happen if we had a really bad of form? Lets hope we don't find out!
