As ERYC approved a motion for everyone in the authority to support Hull City AFC, unreservedly.

"Given that more than 50 per cent of season ticket holders at Hull City AFC are residents of the East Riding, the council gives every backing to its owner and chairman Dr Assem Allam, in his endeavours to move the club to a higher level."

Good value to the local ratepayers and democracy at work.

 

Does anyone actually know what this means.......???

 

As it's up for sale, it must mean the electorate must wear a sandwich board advertising it for sale to someone that can pay off the debt we've acquired in a business like fashion.

 

It's not a move to Melton but High Hunsley.

 

Looking at the ERYC Council's recent actions, I'm begining to so how a visit to Holderness gave JRR Tolkien the inspiration for the Hobbits.

 

If he's put the Club up for sale, how can he take it to a higher level?

 

Easy, build a new stadium at a higher elevation.
