Anyone out there still want to stick up for the disgraceful piece of work after saying the fans are to blame this morning?

Please accept one of these rumoured offers and **** off. <ok>

Even if the club rebrand managed to bring in an extra million or so (which it wouldn't ayway) how would that make it self sufficient?

    Assem Allam is a pig.

He can jump off a cliff for all I care so long as he leaves the club for the majority who just want to enjoy watching football.

Even building a sports/retail complex and adding 10,000 extra seats wouldn't make it self sufficient, the guys deluded.

if the chairman wants to move the club to melton or anywhere else, there'll be doormats on here prepared to accept it. i was told only recently in a certain heated debate that if you don't support his vision in its entirety then you're against him.

and i don't support his vision in its entirety.

So how do you suggest we make it self sufficient?

What is sad is that he just doesn't get it, he has been here a long time, but still doesn't understand the culture.

It's always someone else's fault or responsibility isn't it?

I know, you just want to enjoy a game of football. It can't be that difficult to run a football club successfully while keeping all the fans happy can it?

Personally I blame the FIFA and FM games.

Its a relatively small club in the Premier League, it will never be self sufficient, simple as that.

an alternative ? just dont spend so much money only spend what money is generated from being in the Prem .

if it isnt enough to ensure survival in the Prem , then so be it , as you would have saddled the club further , it wont be a huge problem .

    egotistical psychopath !!!

100% this. No need to blow loads of money we don't have on "proven premier league stars" as we proved last season and showing again this, there is plenty of talent out there who can perform at highest level without costing a fortune.

The intersting thing for me is what happens now if the FA AND fans suddenly roll over and he gets his name change? Does it seriously end there and he shuts up for a measly £1m a year, which we would save by shifting just a couple of squad players - say *Aluko and Bruce - or if we'd finished just 1 place higher last season?

I cannot believe for 1 minute he is going to all this trouble and the horrific abuse he is giving to fans - and will receive back - for what is, in football terms, absolute f**ing peanuts. Just what is his end game?

*actually that would be £2m a year saving but this just proves my point.
