That's a fair post, although I would point out that the Premier League season is relatively short and that once we've played another 3 games we will be over a quarter of the way through the season!

While I admire your optimism, it's not just our results and remaining games that's worrying us all, it's our performances. We are quite simply dire. No consistency in tactics, no consistency in team selection, no obvious desire from our players, nothing that gives us fans any hope that the current management can get us playing as a team.
I can't put my finger on why. Warnock will be remembered as one of the best championship managers ever yet failed with us (or did he), MH came with an impressive record at club and international level and made a complete Bol•ox of our club. Redknapp is the strangest of all. I was reasonably happy with his appointment as I felt he would get us playing attractive football but we have been sterile, boring and listless under his management and promotion did not hide all his shortcomings for me. What's going on at our club? Are we cursed? Have we sold our soul?
    I'd love some answers.
I hate listening to talk sport now in the morning or watching SKY as we seem the butt of everybody's jokes. Truth is we are a disgrace. TF is a naive fool with more money than sense. One thing I'm absolutely certain of, is that Harry is no good for us and every minute he's with us is a minute our next manager won't have.
I know Pulis is not everybody's cup of tea and believe me, I am desperate when I say his name.
The madness has to stop. Our players need a manager not a friend. I'm not overly excited by Les coming back as we now have more off field staff than fit players. Too many Indians and all that.

    I feel your frustration mate.

I'm not convinced someone as successful as Fernandes can be a fool, although he's doing a reasonable impersonation.

I really like the man but he's the common denominator Col. His appointment and Amit's step backwards into the shadows, coincides with most of the ridiculousness that's being happening at our club for the last few years. I think he's got it very badly wrong. His constant twitter presence sets a bad example for the rest of them, Harry also courts the media, Joey's never off twitter and now Rio's at it too. See the trend.

We're more like a circus than a well run football club. Add in the constant media hype about new training facilities, a new stadium and now a new housing development and I'm starting to think that football is only a sideshow. We no longer have our own identity. We're a laughing stock. Our little club has lost its soul. We're trying to buy success and run with the big boys before we've learned to walk.

I never saw a PL team training before so I don't have anything to measure it against but when I saw the preseason open training session I remember saying to myself "is that it?". It just looked very basic. Bond's routine of rolling the ball to a player and having him pass it back to him looked awfully amateurish.

I don't know, maybe that's how its done but they do get paid a hell of a lot of money for doing something an idiot could do.

Sounds like the stuff I was doing on my basic FA coaching course done over 2 weekends 10 years ago. Do you think they have a vacancy? Seems like I'm qualified.

I did think the same thing when I went to watch them in the open day at Loftus Road last year when MacLaren was there. He had one team and Bond had the other. Bond and Maclaren would take it in turns to pass the ball to each member of their team who would then shoot from the edge of the 18 yard box. I'm not exaggerating when I say that only 5 shots out of 40 hit the target. Let alone score.

Nuts- I know what your saying, the club is a shambles at the moment! However, that doesn't automatically mean we are going down, there is plenty of time to turn the season around and the table doesn't take full shape until new year really. We only have to finish above 3 other teams this season (easier said then done I know), it looks unlikely if HR does stay that he will still be here the following season, we just need to stumble, trip and fall over the line if we can, not what anyone wants but better then going down! As for TF, I think to call him a naive fool is unfair, could you run a football club from top to bottom with no previous experience? He has got us promoted to the premier league which for a club our size is a huge achievement! He also has big plans to grow the club, there aren't many owners who do that. As for social media and the use of Twitter etc I'm afraid people need to suck it up and get over it, it's here to stay and clubs that don't use it will get left behind, it builds the brand and profile of the club and players and keeps people from around the world up to date with the club, Rio for example has 5.5million followers, how many of those had never heard of Qpr before he signed?

Don't want to be a pedant mate but he took over after we'd been promoted

We'll have to agree to differ mate. Under Harry I think we will go down. Doesn't matter how many games are gone or left, there's no shape of a team there and that's not going to change anytime soon. If Harry goes quickly then a new manager would have half a chance. Otherwise IMO we will be even more embarrassing than last time.

There's been a few good posts between Supergod00 and Nuts on this thread. I admire your sense of optimism Super G but I'm afraid I tend to agree with Nuts on this one. I've seen no evidence of us improving under Redknapp. The performances appear to be getting worse if anything. However, having said that, it only takes one small spark to ignite our season which could come despite of Redknapp. Two years ago it came in the shape of Shaun Derry. He rose above the Liverpool defence that started our comeback. This led to us gaining momentum in the forthcoming matches that saw us beating Spurs, Arsenal and Stoke to secure our premiership survival. Could lightning strike twice at Loftus Road?

Although I agree with Nuts, I hope that it's SuperG that ends up with the bragging rights.

Yeah, but he was involved then and we have gone up again since!

My hope at us staying up probably rests more on that three other teams will implode worse then us. But you never know, with the tough games we have coming up in the next four games, one good win against a top side could motivate the team into the easier games on the other side. At least we can never say it's boring being a Qpr fan!

Aren't you being a pedant for posting that and knowing that he meant this season?

Indeed but having gotten relegated after taking over not long after promotion!

Na mate. He was telling us what Tony achieved since taking over ("He has got us promoted to the premier league which for a club our size is a huge achievement"!) but didn't mention that when he took us over we were in the Premier League. So in order to achieve promotion with us he also had to "achieve" relegation.

Supergod was suggesting he took us over in the 2nd tier and now we're in the 1st. Wasn't the case I'm afraid.

Re-past posts and hindsight - if you want to be proved right, the best course of action is that, whoever is the QPR manager, you tell everyone you think he's ****. Eventually, you'll be proved right. If you had voiced your hate of Hart, Harford, Warnock, Hughes and Redknapp respectively, you'd have been proved right five times...and then can crow about it!

I have to say I agree with Bob, we are pants. For Harry to be trotting out the 'players not fit' line in October is a damning indictment of gross mis-management. You don't need to be a football expert to see we are playing without spirit, leadership or even a hint a of game-plan.

Three at the back was dead-in-the-water after two games and we still haven't got the defence looking anywhere near comfortable. Midfield has been chopped and changed but the lack of actually stringing more than three sideways or backward passes together is beyond a joke. Charlie is on a hiding to nothing upfront and Vargas seems to be ignored now along with Isla. WTF is going on? What DO they do in training?

I heard Alan Brazil mention that Hoddle has had no input as yet, he's just observing. Why? What is he being paid for? You couldn't make it up.

I've refrained from joining the Harry Out brigade up to now but the more I'm hearing of what's going on behind the scenes leaves me to conclude that if Harry isn't gone after our next four tough matches we're toast, although we're turning brown quicker than I thought we would...

I'm a bit down about my club at present, I can't the blue sky through the clouds at present, nothing is shinning on our club at present, the media, journo's etc are having a field day at our expense, like someone said I can't listen to talk sport or any football on radio at present & we are a laughing stock & I don't like it at all, performances are absmyal & the crap that comes of the club is crap, Harry talks ****e week in week out & I can't see an end to this at present, something has got to change & quick.
