So what's your fav? can be a cover version or a just a Beatle Harrison or Lennon or a Wings or the Traveling Wilburys - I have loads that I just like to play live (such as Eleanor Rigby or We Can Work It Out)when I'm playing in a covers band- that I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to.
If I had to choose 1 Beatles song from the couple of hundred or so penned i.e. Desert Island Disc ...I'd pick 'Yesterday'

    A few dependent on mood...

    Hey Bulldog,
    Helter Skelter,
    While My Guitar Gently Weeps,
    Watching the Wheels (Lennon)
    My Sweet Lord (Harrison)
    What is life (Harrison)

I am the Walrus is my fave Beatles song.

Love the Beatles more for what they did to inspire future music than for their own music if I'm honest though.

Fool on the Hill ......... a testimony to all our lives.

    "The fool on the hill
    Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
    See the world spinning round."

I agree -there's too many to choose from on another day maybe I wouldn't chose Yesterday :emoticon-0120-doh:- it'd been Come Together or maybe Norwegian Wood also quite like Clapton's renditions of Beatles songs

<laugh>, I do recall the thread you mention.
If I remember correctly I listed about half a dozen Beatles songs but yes, Yesterday was one of them.

Sometimes I'm just in the mood for a right mushy song but like I say, I'm just a soft owld twat.
I'm sure my 20 year old daughter thinks I'm a tit.
No doubt some on here will agree, lol.

Hahahaha we differ mate, that is one of my favourites.

    Yesterday my least favourite.

That said, it's all just opinions. As long as you like the beatles, I like your opinion.

"A day in the life" for me, not just the best Beatles song but one of the best of all time.
While my guitar gently weeps is also outstanding.

I was thinking why I didn't like Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da - I reckon it goes back to my childhood- when my parents (took me ) went along to the working mens CIU club on the weekends in the late 60's early 70's and the bands that played there always played a cheesy rendition of this song- but every one got up and danced when better tunes were played they were ignored - hated it then and still do
