A couple of fascinating 2-y-o maidens at Navan tomorrow,one for the fillies and one for the colts. If memory serves some very decent sorts have graduated from these races in the past. Giovanni Canaletto in the 3.55 has a particularly beautiful lineage. I'll be recording these two events.

My wheelbarrow is on already fellas each way at 7/1 but I have to say its the most I have ever had on a horse that I didn't pick myself. I would have chosen the 2:10 myself but Charlie feels she has the pace now to win the later race, lets face it Towcester is an uphill slog at the death. She has never stopped in a race yet and her best two runs have been at this most testing of tracks. She has summered really well and on a day when The Don and I were there together Charlie gave us a very bullish nod about her. For my money she hasn't been let in at all lightly but he says he expected her to get what she was given and in his opinion she is better than that. He is the expert so I bow to his judgement. I hope this doesn't all sound like a cop out but she is fancied and I will be bitterly disappointed if she doesn't make the frame. I will be over the moon of course if she wins! Fingers crossed but most importantly for her coming home safe and sound!

Good luck stick. You will all be glad to know that I have not burdened her with my money, much as would have liked to be in on it. I shall take just as much pleasure from seeing her run well and hopefully giving stick a most enjoyable day.
Good luck Stick. I too thought she was tight enough off 95 but CL always has his string flying at this time of year and you'd have to back his confidence. Least exposed in the field also so hopefully no real surprises from the others.
