Wenger dictates all the football we play or dont play . Which players get bought or not bought . Their positions and tactics. You cant talk about our football without talking about Wenger , much as you would like to. He a bit of a fly in the ointment aint he. I know you would like us all to divert immediately to the "laugh at spurs " thread after another poor performance . But you will just have to accept that that wont happen.

Your still upset by me saying you came across as excited when you posted on the Chelsea match thread that utd had won and gone ahead of us and we'd plummeted down the table? It was very much a "see, look, look I'm right, I'm right" type post. Or at least that's how it came across
Grow up lad. You're not 8 and you're meant to be in some sort of charge of the forum. The way you keep harping on about this and getting personal with different members makes you seem extremely petty and a bit soft.

I simply pointed out they had a game in hand which at the time was correct. After the result with hindsight of course you can make the point you did, but you made it prior to it being a fair assessment of the situation.
The problem with using the Chelsea game as a barometer for how we are doing is that. Chelsea are clearly the strongest side in the league and are going through a great run of form. In other words we played the leagues best side while they are full of confidence. There will no doubt be a period when the quality if their play goes down. It's also fair to say we are nowhere near our best in terms of performance.
It's not just the Chelsea game tho. It's the second worst start to a Premiership Campaign in Arsenal history.
I already did. You said that this forum isn't for talking about football, tactics or transfers. You said all of that was pointless, but it wasn't pointless to moan about how Wenger isn't good enough. If a football forum isn't for talking about football, then I think you're in the wrong place.

Okay so it's clear, some people don't want to talk about football on a football forum. They just want to moan about Wenger. Maybe you just need a 'Wenger bitch fest' thread ? Where you can vent your spleen and leave the other threads for those who want to talk about football ? It's a shame really, because way back in this thread I asked for some opinions about how they'd like to see us play differently (after all this thread is about Arsenal in the big games) because I actually thought we might agree with each other and establish some common ground. But with a flat out refusal to even talk about the football, it's a pointless exercise.
Gave you my opinions on what I'd do differently, and a fair few agreed. Some that want Wenger out have reasoned their arguments and can articulate them properly.
I appreciate that mate and anybody who can articulate their arguments. If somebody thinks Wenger is doing it all wrong, then at the very least they need to be able to come up with an alternative to how it could be done better. Just slagging the bloke off and having no solution other than 'sack him' doesn't wash.
