Magic IS top suspect but Gerrez is in on it too I'm pretty certain <ok> When he was ahead in the polls there was a proper lull for about an hour as if the KBG were just waiting to see how they could get him out of it....him and his henchmen voted last minute too which is mighty dodgy.

    Night all :)

I've got no special powers so I have no clue what to make of anything other than the votes. Can't play to an agenda, other than vote for whoever is suspicious. It's no fun, I realise now. Much better to be an orchestrator or someone able to influence the game beyond "i think they are guilty". That being said, I'll vote for astro tonight because I don't think he came under suspicion last round. One of my guesses is bound to be right. I wouldn't mind another 50/50 split or a 5 way tie this round either, so I'll be looking to hit the greatest amount of people with my vote. If that means being voted out then so be it. We have to get the KGB fast otherwise we risk a witch hunt. It's vital to protect our town investigators (if we even have any left, milk?) so that we can find out who the KGB is. I suggest the investigator wait until he knows the identity of the KGB assassin. That way, when he comes out, we can lynch the assassin and protect him. Then there are no further ways of killing the investigator as long as we split the votes between the rest of us until the kgb is found.

That being said, don't allow yourself to be voted out, investigator. We need you.

    Some quotes from the mourners

The vicar: "Let us give thanks that the Lord, in his infinite wisdom, took our dear brother to heaven in her prime, thereby proving his benevolence and love for us all."

the wife: I don't think I'll ever get over him. But if anyone wants to try and help me, I'm in the back by the boxes of wine.

The usher: "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust - wait a second - that's a nice ring. Anyone mind if I try it on? Not like he's gonna notice! Anyone?"

what Bodanki would have said: "I know you're shocked to see me here, but listen: a verdict of innocent is a verdict of innocent. High priced lawyers and head in the refrigerator or not, I'm innocent and I'm gonna miss this **** as much as any of you bozos."

finally just as mito died, suffocated under a mountain of maths text books pushed over on him... oh cruel world he was said to have uttered "Lucky bartards,I had 3 more of you pegged.... dead to rights.... your own actions confirmed it.............."

So far of the four votes cast two of them are for people who were in the firing line yesterday. I think we are better going for new targets today to see if we get any movement.

Billy and swarbs, would you be up for changing your votes? And if not, why?

I'd be open to changing my vote, as long as there is a good reason to. Tho' I'm not convinced that voting for everyone in turn is likely to give us any results. My vote was placed as Sky was voted for by two of the guys who got eliminated.

Tho' you asking me to change does make me wonder - was your switch to BRB actually a 'mistake' based on typing the first name that came into your head, or were you trying to save others? Others like Sky and Gerrez, who you are now trying to get people not to vote for.

Could the KGB be afc, Sky and Gerrez?

See I look at this the other way.

Idea to get a few people up is to we the reaction. Natural reaction of Mafia is up is for others to try and change the vote just like brb did and look what happened, he was guilty! That worked perfectly!

With Gerrez, you could look that no one really lept to save him and he was actually going until thee confusion last minute. Now if that was kgb saving their team mate they took a massive risk leaving it that late!

Now was no one leaping to his defence because the Mafia knew he wasn't on their team (fact brb tried to kill him sort of proves that) and because he wasn't kgb so they were happy to see him go?

This game proper ****s with your head doesn't it <laugh>

  9. AFC's first switch (with minutes to go) was to me and it put me in the lead for lynching. He only changed again in the final minute. Very risky if your theory was true.

That's because last night there was a massive conspiracy to keep them out of the line.

I have voted for Magic because the 5-way coinflip was so ****ing obvious we at least deserve some explanation why he deliberately ignored it.

Do not let him walk away from that action, which was far more dodgy than what brb did.

In the last game my last minute vote change (if you can remember that <whistle>) was to INCREASE the number of people in the coinflip, which I explained was to increase the chances of involving a mafia. Last night the actions of Magic (non-action) and then the people who changed votes was to DECREASE the number at risk, i.e. they had a clear agenda and information.

(Yes I was mafia in that game, but my action was innocent and had absolutely no benefit to me as a mafia - I was playing the game as if I were innocent to remain hidden and to be able to explain my actions. And no mafia were involved in the coinflip anyway unlike last night.)

Not all that risky, as he knew he could switch away in the final minute. Potentially a cunning bluff, as voting for you would draw attention away from the proposed relationship between you and throw people off the scent. Tho' I agree there was some risk - I'm very suspicious of Sky and afc, tho' not sure you are in it with them.

Also I don't buy the "I only voted brb as the first thing that came to mind" argument - if he really wanted to create a tie he could have switched his vote to RHC, Magic or anyone with no votes to their name. Create confusion in the last few minutes, then benefit from it by breaking the tie and eliminating someone whilst everyone else scratches their head.

Tbh I think my vote will be for either afc or Sky depending on how the other votes fall today.

We almost had a five way tie on the first day. Magic was the only one still left to vote. Then brb changed his vote from afc to Gerrez, which put Gerrez in the lead. Then afc changed his vote from Gerrez to brb, which put brb in the lead and got him lynched. I also ended up voting for brb as I thought I was creating a tie for the top, but afc had switched his vote at the same time. Tried to switch my vote back, but was too late.

brb was the Mafia recruiter and was lynched
MITO was the town cop, and got killed by the Mafia assassin
Bodanki was the Mafia assassin, and got killed by the KGB assassin

    Thus far today:
astro has voted for Magic as he believes him not voting until very late was suspicious
I have voted for Sky, as both brb and Bodanki voted for him and both were killed
Billy has voted for Gerrez, as he believes the late vote changes were designed to protect him
danilo has voted for astro, as he believes astro wasn't put under suspicion on day 1

I didn't vote because I didn't have time to <doh> Sorry but jumping in to this thread when it's 20 pages in is a ball ache, and by the time I had half caught up I had a lecture. When I did finally get home the circumstances had changed and I voted for someone who turned out to be mafia. But if you want to vote me out based on absolutely nothing go ahead as I'm ****ing busy anyway <laugh>

Oi, my vote killed off the mafia assassin tyvm! I'm a towns person!

My thinking is only a handful of the people playing had any heat on them yesterday and we didn't see much movement to save anyone. If we put pressure on the other people today we might get more of a reaction.

I'll vote rhc to get the ball rolling.

And to be clear I'm not saying we should definitely lynch someone who wasn't in the tie yesterday or saying stop being suspicious of those who where up for the chop yesterday. Just think we had a very good first day and we should use day two to test the waters we can always come back and kill gerrez later :p
