Thinking about this pricing structure..... Didn't the club advertise it's season ticket prices showing the potential savings against match day prices ? If that's the case the they must have calculated the saving using a set figure for each game. So at one point all games must have been categorised. Obviously the club is trying to maximise revenue but Southampton Cat B ?? Will they downgrade Newcastle to Cat C if they're still in the bottom 3 when we play them ? Or if Spurs are only mid-table come the end of next month will that be downgraded as well ? Theoretically, our season ticket savings may not be as much as first advertised if more games are Cat C then we thought.....
From memory, I think they said a season ticket saved at least £121, which based on the cheapest season means 6 Cat A, 6 Cat B and 7 Cat C games. Either they're shuffling the games round within the categories, or they're just going to change the categories based on demand and ignore the saving they originally stated.
Correct and Man Utd & Liverpool will be infested with local day tripping plastics who are more likely to pay the ludicrous prices as a one off with it being the only game they attend all season.
