So 13/15 times we will get an accurate response. I think it's a good role <ok>

    yes i think so.

Its great that you get it effectively from milk. whatever the journo find is

    a) 2/14 chance of being false (godfather or lead spy)

    b) 12/14 change of being a real call... one wa or the other (4/14 non town, 8/14 being truely town.)

  3. True but just how much it threw people having a snitch in the last game. The chances of someone being investigated and covered by the snitch were less than the chances of simply investigating the Lead Spy / Godfather. that slight doubt throws things into chaos <laugh>

  4. There's fifteen players but I guess you put fourteen because we all know our own stance <ok>

I was wondering if it might help to suss people out if rather than suggesting other people to investigate like in the last game, if a few people put themselves forward to be investigated. The only people who could volunteer to be investigated (without bluffing) are towns people or the lead spy/godfather. Might be able to detect something from who puts themselves up for investigation and the results of any investigation then made.

I'll start by saying I'd like to be investigated! I'm innocent and I want to win again :p

It's just an idea! Won't work obviously if everyone just says they want to be investigated lol

Well the investigator won't investigate themselves which brings it to 14 roles.

  10. Main problem is trusting someone that is declared 'town'. They could be innocent but if not they could lead us up the wrong path if we are over trusting.

They could investigate themselves... It'd mean everyone else realised they where innocent and possibly help them last until later in the game...

I'm fine. investigate me then guys.

the role is a very good idea as it can stay hidden. I found people jumping out saying they were cops in the last two games were in effect killing it off fast. sorry but it did so this is a very good way of making one a hidden role.

the thing is the info the jouno gets is just about as good as the info the cop gets and the cop has to find a way to rig a vote so in effect killing the journo is vital for the mafia. the cop is far less important.

yes.... you'll find it is easy enough to reconcile that 90% is utter bull and 10% matters.

So we need to make sure the journo keeps stum right? I still feel we had little choice last time after Magic (worst vigilante ever) got topped but for the investigators to come out. We had **** all else to go on at the time.

As if you've got anything better to do with your time...

Shall we kill you off round 1 to save you time instead? <whistle>

Don't investigate me until I've deleted all the gay porn off my computer.

    Ooops, wrong thread...
