Glad to hear he was taking the piss. Well done <ok> Happy to acknowledge a mistake if that's what it was. <sorry>

But DragonPhil, you will still be a twat tomorrow. <laugh>

Big shoutout for your fans. Had to swap season tickets today and was right next to them. Great bunch who sang their hearts out for the whole game. Good-natured banter without the nonsense we had from your neighbours last week.

    <applause>

Well lads that was a trek and a half.
Anyways.. Our biggest problem was we didnt have a leader on the pitch. Off the ball players were lookin at each other for direction with very little forthcoming.
The team look in a really bad way IMHO.
Fair play to Cisse, his movement was excellent.

No leader is spot on. the toon have some great players but nobody on the pitch to take control. Pardew really needs to go for the toon to get some quality football on the pitch as there is definitely quality there to be developed. Why Ash is sticking with pardew is a mystery that only he will know...you are not a bottom half team by any stretch of the imagination but you do have a bottom half manager...

    WE BEAT SWANSEA THEN ???
The way the media are going on we beat Swansea rather than a point which is not enough, the thought that a draw at Swansea keeps prick in a job highlights what a joke this in has become and the only reason we might stay up is if he is sacked within the next two weeks.

Make Tiote captain first and foremost and tell Sissoko to grow some bollocks and start earning his wages. Apart from being completely out of form, Coloccini should never have been made captain IMHO.

Maybe but I just think Colo is distracted at present. I do think Saylor deserves a start ahead of Willo now. I'm not a massive Saylor fan but he must be knocking on the door with our defending. Ideally we'd have someone to replace Willo and Colo. Tiote probably doesn't need the captaincy, he just does it naturally. I agree about Sissoko but I'd struggle to single him out. Gouffran was similarly pathetic.

A number of players had poor games but we just need to sort ourselves out. I'd start 442 and play the following:

    Krul
    Janmaat
    Dummett
    Saylor
    Colo
    Anita
    Tiote
    Obertan
    Sammy
    Cisse
    Armstrong

Perez, Cabella, Sissoko, Riviere, Colback, Willo, Haidara

Gouffran wouldn't even make my squad at present. Obertan and Sammy deserve to start regardless what I think of them generally. They are working and the others are not. We can't allow this laziness disease to spread as we'll go straight through the trap door. We have to these twats, "either get your finger out or you will be watching". Pardew won't though. Sissoko and Gouffran must have compromising pics of him because he refuses to drop them.

Seems odd that Saylor wasn't even on the bench. That's one position you always cover. If Pards was thinking Haidara could come on and Dummett could move across to centre if needed, then he needs testing! I just cannot imagine Willo and Dummett as a central pairing! <yikes>

Worried that Janmaat is now crocked too! Hopefully he'll be fine by the time we play again, or we will seriously struggle.

Any news on when Aarons will be back?
