Maybe you could be kind enough to explain the rule to Falcao, sweetheart, since he looked to see if the offsides flag was up before celebrating.

Of course the true PL power shift was when Spurs were allowed to win a game at OT,
and no amount of laughable reffing decisions or Fergie time would prevent it.

So seismic in effect was that 2-3 in 2013, that Fergie realised his reign was at an end
and quit at the end of the same season.

Look where Everton are, as I posted a few weeks ago if they're going to have troubles scoring at home and losing heavily to Chelsea then they'll have problems away. 2-1 wasn't a disaster but Utd aren't playing that well. Who thought Everton would finish above us on this board/

And as I have said: They will struggle with Europa league-their squad is not big enough.

Fair play Blue, I remember that. It's between us, Chelsea, Goons, City and Utd for top four.

The group stages of UEFA competitions do not decide the PL fate of teams.
You have to reach at least the last 16 for that to happen.

They will struggle because they now have a manager who struggles to cope with organising his defence. Easy to forget he got Wigan relegated. Martinez is a nice guy with a good personality and a nice smile. Doesn't make him a great manager though.

Why do you think 6 midweek matches between september and december will
decide the table position of a PL team 5 months later ??

No RD, I don't think that, I just want enlightenment on your comment. I'm not mocking it, I'm normally fairly au fait on football matters but I don't understand your comment.

If I see it right you're saying that Everton won't be affected by their league position at the moment because of the Europa early stages. So if they're struggling now then they'll be struggling even more if they make the last 16 or they won't make the last 16? Sorry if I sound dim. I'm not saying you're wrong in what you say, I just need to understand it.

If Everton exit the Europa league after the group stage, their PL position won't be
so catastrophically damaged that they still cannot be in the running for a CL slot 5 months later.

Being in UEFA competitions around March (not Sept-Dec) is what damages the PL hopes of weaker squads.

I refer you to Spurs 2010-11 and 2012-13 seasons.

Last year's FA Cup win was supposed to be the start of something new wasn't it?

    :D

Wenger needs a Petit or Viera in his team (why he no longer signs such players God knows) .
For too long they have been lightweight when it comes to CM combat against the top PL teams.
And as they are not Pep vintage Barcelona, they are not skilled enough to tika-taka their way
    to victory in such games.

If they struggle now it will affect them later because they will have too much to make up. It also affects injuries.
Anyway I am not too bothered about them ; my own team is more important to worry about.
