I thought that Souness and Neville both spoke brilliantly in their frankness regarding our plight.

    My guess?

    Too much theory at QPR

Remember please we were told that we needed the right sort at QPR

Harold blames the pre season I just heard stuck on the M23 ... Felt like ramming my car into anything

I agree, but they wouldn't criticise Harry at all!! Any other manager would have had his future questioned imo.

    Indeed.

    Harry is the media's buddy.
I'm just wondering how long it will be before his future is questioned?

I know I've sounded like a broken record for the last few years but I just can't get excited watching this bunch of players. We don't play as a team, don't work hard enough, don't press high enough and look like a bunch of strangers who have just met. We create very very little. It's hard to watch.

Total shambles, but HR must take a fair proportion of the blame. Get Pullis on the dog!

When Redknapp was told what Neville said he replied "well I've seen some diabolical performances of late aswell but we won't go into that one".

Looks like he was having a pop back regarding England's World Cup and Neville's involvement with it

Did anyone see Tony Cascarino on SSN earlier?

    He said:

"I find it very strange when a Chairman acts like a fan and gets involved in social networking. I find QPR as a Club very strange at the moment. I see a circus going on. I see the Manager doing media work; a column. I see the players doing it. I see a number of players involved in the media and involved in social networking; and you're getting beat every week! If I was the owner I'd be saying hold it everybody, lets stop. The first port of call is getting results and getting everyone onside. No outside influences to this football club. But that's not happening. You know, I find it a strange situation. They've also got a problem of fair play. You know, they've got to deal with that. I find the Club is just....all its news - none of its good. You know, people are questioning players. People are questioning Ferdinand and the other signings Redknapp's made. None of them are playing well. I find QPR as a football club, there's too much going wrong and no-one's been able to fix anything. Tony Fernandes, okay he's tweeting and he's sending messages to fans which some fans like but they want to see the action on the field, don't they? They want to see performances and I don't think, for me, QPR fans have seen enough of it"

I used to have Casc down as not the brightest star in the sky but that was pretty accurate IMO. Just shows that people looking in from the outside see our Club as quite unusual the way its set up.

That's pretty clear and accurate IMO.

Not many people saying positive things from outside the club to counter our inner turmoil. Usually there seems a balance from the pundits and we're just a bit more heightened with our hopes and expectations as fans but that seems to be lacking from all quarters.

The thing is Swords is that it is nothing that hasn't been said on here and other forums for months now, it only people who can not ee the problem are those on the inside.....

I have no idea mate - it's not linked with specific owners, players, managers etc. and it can't be the fans (perhaps a little influence over a Saturday afternoon but not too much else and we don't have a continuous stream of protests etc. like Newcastle do for example).

Possibly LR is built over a portal to a malevolent dimension - that's about the best I can do!!!!

Hard to argue with any of that. Once again we are the joke team and joke club, and any lingering sympathy we may have had from others has long gone.

It does seem that we have been something of a farce for coming on 20 years now. Leadership (owners and managers) ranging from disinterested to malevolent to weak may have something to do with it. A few others in the same boat though, ask MASSIVE Leeds. Or Cardiff. Or Portsmouth.

Not disagreeing but the most frustrating thing is that we know they can do better - Sunderland and Stoke.

I'm at a loss to explain why we are doing so very badly.

But why is it always our club that players seem to choose to just take their pay and not bother putting in any great effort? There are exceptions of course,
    but you get my drift.

That's a good question COL and the answer has to lie at the top. We've had two Managers now who've done well at most places they've been but struggle like hell with us. And a shed load of players who played better and tried harder at their former Clubs before they arrived here. Why is that?

There's something seriously dysfunctional at the Club and no matter how well-meaning or jovial the Chairman is, he's running the operation very wrongly is some way or other. I doubt very much there's anything malevolent about the guy, its just that he's not doing things in the correct manner. Whatever those things are, I ain't got a clue but perhaps the starting point could be what Cascarino said about everyone at the Club being media whores. Some better posters than me have flagged up all sorts of other disconnects at the Club from the bottom up but all I know is its gone past coincidence at this stage.

Something is malfunctioning and needs mending asap
