i Brian our former manager has signed a three year deal to become a scout for Arsenal thus returning to the club where his career began. All I can say is that they must know something we don't know because the only sucessful signing was the one I gave them Mattv Smith the rest were garbage Hunt what can I say about this young man I think the best he can hope gor is Farsley Celtic he won't have far to go! Cameron Stewart I wrote telling him that he reminde me of a rabbit caught in headlights! Wooton/ Murphy we paid far to much for the pair and neither have set the ground alight Kebbie another jokealong withthe young boy from Southampton who didnt get a game I think it speaks volumes that not one BM signing started the game yesterday Brians claim to fame is he signed Le Fondre end of story and anyone would have taklen a chance at 300k Best Of luck Brian you will need it! PS can you take Hunt with you!
Fook him because he took us backwards and this sums him up: I think 27th June, did the bleep test, did all my relevant tests and Brian McDermott pulled me into his office and said 'I don't want you at the football club, I want to bring in Noel Hunt and you can leave'. So, he said 'you can stay if you want' and I said 'I can't really stay if you don't want me here', so I left and the rest is history. 'After a little while I got asked if I wanted to go back to Leeds and my answer was if Brian McDermott was there I don't think so because he didn't want me there. So when he left I thought that's good because it's a great opportunity for me to go back there and show what I can do,' continued Morison. This is the best and the bulk of all our troubles: 'I don't want you at the football club, I want to bring in Noel Hunt and you can leave'
All I will say is this ... NO MANAGER in the world would have coped in the Bates/GFH turmoil, not The Chosen One, not Wenger, nobody Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
In all fairness Murphy and Wootton for 2 million combined isn't that bad. Even now that's not bad as squad players in a Championship team. Smith was a great signing. Granted there was some **** as well. Good luck to him I say.
Smith was a steal for a freebie reckon we could of got a lot more for him than we did, Murphy ain't a bad player lacking on confidence maybe, Wotton same. Reckon if he had signed up this season him and Cellino would of been the best thing we'd seen in a long time sad he came in when he did (with GFH savaging us and defrauding us off millions) but onwards and upwards as they say. Shocking we did not have a scouting setup when he signed up. He's a good manager, coach and scout and respected across English football you don't get to be one of Wengers scouts if you aren't, he could impress at most clubs but LUFC is a different beast.
Kebe, Stewart and Hunt were all highly rated until they came to Leeds and the toxic environment created by Bates/GFH .. King has got it right ^^ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Wasn't it Charltin Stewart was on loan with before us and if I remember correctly they didn't rate him and at the time were in relegation bother
