Giroud yes.. but at 23 I think Wellbeck has the ability to become 'World Class'. I dont blame the players for todays loss actually. They played fairly well - todays loss was down to a complete lack of tactical adaptability by Wenger. Moureen has figured him out and Wenger does the same thing every game.
So I'm not allowed to assess the ref because talking about the ref in any way must constitute using it as an excuse for the loss, even when accompanied by the disclaimer that my comments most definitely are not blaming the ref for the loss. Possibly, but I don't think you should be waiting around for that alone. By all means develop him and plan for the future, but in the meantime you need the finished article now. £40m-£50m on a proper Centre Forward and with the rest of your squad, you'd be challenging. I bet the likes of Cazorla, Wilshere and Ozil would fcking move up a gear as well. On that note, Ozil was on the right side of a midfield 3 at Real Madrid, and he had highest assists (or close to it) because he had the likes of Ronaldo ahead of him. Now I'm not saying you need Ronaldo, but your midfielders NEED a worldie up front to lift them also.

I said it at the start of the season, what is the point of Ozil and Sanchez, why did Wenger "waste" almost £80mill in an area of the team we really did not need strengthening, I would have quite happliy spent 50mill on a top grade centre-forward! Personally, if Ozil had been playing for another team, he would have daubed a waste of money. We sell Fab for 30 mill and pay 10mill more for Ozil.... I can see why the money men sometimes refuse to give Wenger money...
I will comment on how someone is coming across, usually when they are trying to say something without directly saying it, or if they are being really harsh to someone with the tone of there post. And I will make it clear that I'm commenting on the way a certain post reads as opposed to putting words in someone's mouth. Mate Ozil is absolute class. I don't personally rate Sanchez from what I saw of him at Barca but Ozil is a fantastic buy. I just think he needs someone in front of him to bring the best out of him. IF fabregas had been at Chelsea last season, I am pretty sure he'd be being dubbed a waste of money. No surprise that with DC in front he's getting all the plaudits and rightly so. Imagine DC or an Aguero or even Ibrah in front of Ozil wherever he is on the pitch.
Main issue for me has always been scoring goals in big games. We haven't scored against the likes of United and Chelsea for ages. I can think of a million reasons, I think tactics, mentality and lack of a proper world class centre forward like Henry are some of the reasons why we can't. Until we learn to score goals against these teams we won't progress.
