They look beaten before they play at the moment. Know that feeling and it doesn't end well. They've got to be quietly pondering relegation
Will be really interesting to see what happens with regards to FFP if they do go down. Long way to go yet though and another transfer window in which to squander money.
I was hoping a couple of our resident wockneycanker kooppprrr fans would show up and tell us how they see it. Fer is looking very ordinary indeed and is not PL quality. Hence he ended up at loftus road.
I love this quote from Harry post match; "We have to find a way of playing that suits everybody and get the best out of what we've got." Foolishly I thought managers might have an idea of how they wanted to play and bought players to fit into that system, especially when money seems little object. Or is he trying to say "oh bugger, I've bought all these old hasbeens how do I accommodate waining pace, ability and will? Bah!
I would imagine fer is thinking that the club are on a poor run but at least I got a big pay rise in the summer and I'm playing at anfield and old Trafford this season.rather than having to trawl around the outer reaches of England every other Tuesday. Even if QPR go down he will probably find another top flight club somewhere in Europe to take him. I also think that maybe we should worry about a lack of a coherent playing system a bit closer to home before we start enjoying qpr's plight too much. Fair enough getting beaten week in week out in the prem but not so good dropping five home points in a week against very ordinary opposition. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see us return the compliments to the QPR fans if we pass them at the end of the season but there's a long way to go in both cases and I for one will be keeping my powder dry for fear of hubris come may.
I agree with you re-Fer, laughing all the way to the bank. I also think you have a point about NA not quite getting our system right. However we are still top. Inspite of 1/6 for the last two games, we dominated and whilst concerning that we struggled to break down very defensively set opposition, there are still plenty of positives coming out of these games, QPR will not have many of the same comforts. Experienced manager and team and they look beaten from the start. Right or wrong formation, chances are being made, lessons for an inexperienced manager are hopefully being learnt. All that said I'm not sure that I can't just enjoy QPRs plight, afterall I has no impact or relevance to our own issues. I hope and believe that we will gain promotion this season, we can hopefully give them a wave on the way past. (that said there are plenty of other sides who will struggle and could save qpr) Bah!
Don't worry, the clowns in charge would never carry out the threat of multi-relegations, they will probably hit them with a ten bob fine and say don't do it again!
