Yes we should. We were really poor and Spurs were just that bit better all over the pitch.

Okay, apart from the obvious Poch parts, I'm really not too worried about that. Could have gone either way and when it comes down to it, look at it like this -

Spurs playing well (probably their most coherent performance this season) is only the tiniest bit better than us playing very averagely.

Agreed, sounded like a bit of a scrappy game but think they edged it

Cant really say we deserved a point. Didn't create anywhere near enough and Spurs fought more.

Not a bad game that. I was only able to see the second half, but it looked pretty even, and the odd goal was always going to win it. 3rd place.

****. And now a forced break to watch some glorious England crap. Oh well, roll on the next five very winnable league fixtures.

Our winning run was bound to come to an end, just really didn't want it to go against Spurs. We had an off day, was bound to happen eventually. Wanyama was very very good on the bright side.

Biggest mistake was taking off Wanyama, we lost our control over possession and struggled to get the ball in the final third after that.

Never invested much in this...took it calmly. Oh dear, never mind...move on. Have to win the next 7 games for the record. :)

Way wrong. He should have gone off at half time. That was the Wanyama of last season not what we have seen this season so far. He was wandering around chasing, not anticipating. Massive difference.

Spuds deserved the three points, tbh.

Though still frustrating that we had a chance to steal a point and Mane somehow missed a tap in that most of us would have scored. We need to possess the ball a bit better/longer as a team.

Forster was probably the worst individual player, but none of his mistakes cost us and he couldn't do anything about the goal.

That was really very poor. Davis and Tadic in particular I thought under performed, and that in turn no doubt aided in Pelle being just as quiet as he was in the first two games.

Shame it took Bertrand until the final 10 minutes to release the handbrake, but I guess I can understand that. Spurs carried too much threat on the counter.

Have to admit that Spurs wanted it more and probably deserved to win. Every 50-50 challenge the ball bounced their way. Sure they fouled a lot and should have had a man sent off, but we just didn't look up for it, especially near the end.

This. The one thing for me is that we lack impact subs at the moment. It will be better when Jay gets back but our bench only had Long to bring on (Mayuka doesnt count) so we couldnt alter much.

Goodness knows what game you were watching. Both Wanyama and Schneiderlin were poor. How else do you explain Spurs' midfield dominance?

That was the gamble. Nearly came off too, as Long got round the back, passed to Bertrand, who fizzed one across the 6 yard area only for Mane to miss. Sometimes it's a masterstroke, sometimes it isn't quite.
