It was harsh given how late in the day the interference occured and ther fact that it was minimal and didn't affect the result.

Those however are the rules are the French are largely consistent...One wonders if the owners of the second and third would have been demoted in similar circumstances..<whistle>

Joseph O'Brien only has himself to blame. By not pulling his whip through to his other hand he never had a leg to stand on in that stewards room

Would much rather see him on Channel 4 Racing than Rishi Persad!

SO Sea the Stars is climing the Galileo ladder rather quickly.
I'm on Taghrooda but would like to see Kingston Hill run a decent race.

You are right Dexter Chan needs to have a word with himself!

Lads, don't bet with any firms not willing to payout on the double result in French racing if you punt at Longchamp.

    Bet365
    Paddy
    Betfair (maybe)

They all pay first past the post and result post stewards. A lot don't.

    Quite right Bustino.

Mastercraftsman also having a wonderful season with his offspring but I think Kingston Hill has it all to do.

Connections right to have a go...nothing to lose with the Leger already on the C.V.

Very Strange position to have backed Etcot but actually would probably still prefer Tagroodah to win.

Back Taghrooda on the PMU and Ectot on BF and you can have the best of both worlds.

I think Taghrooda will go close. And Ectot is good value at 7/1 for a Niel winner, but I've left him unbacked.

Is it going to be a tactical crawl or will the wide horses crossing over ensure a that fast pace ensues?

Treve is too big a price at 11/1 as is Tapestry at 14/1. Having said that i am backing Taghrooda. Cant see her out of the first three and i think she is certainly the most likely winner

Fabulous result and her trainer never doubted her.

Taghrooda has run a cracker but has been reported to be in season and not striding out after being pushed wide.

Well done Treve but as I'm sure you will see in the cold light of day, Harp Star fans have fell foul of the most arrogant ride from the naive Japanese. Unbelievable arrogance, held up 15 L off the pace, then allowed to go last again turning in.

Oh well, **** it. Only a race.
