People actually live on the Falkland Islands though, so it isn't "just like Rockall".

Be even funnier if the BBC get shut, but there again they never did anything about Saville.

Considering how many times it has been in the headlines you would think anyone with anything about them would spell Savile correctly.

The Argentinians? The descendants of the Spanish and others who wiped out the original inhabitants of the area. The Falklands were occupied by various countries before the state named Argentina came into existence.

    Onlyyou.

    You might not . . .

Try meeting them and you might realise they do; certainly more patriotic than some numbnuts on here. <ok>

I share their patriotism. People like Stan are convinced the Falklanders are being oppressed by the ruthless boot of British imperialism, but the reality is that they are proud, British citizens who don't want to be controlled by a Spanish-speaking country with its own problems. It's pretty simple, and it applies to Gibraltar as well.

Bollocks, it's people want to remain British, we have an obligation to protect those rights, just as we do in Gilbratlar, where there's no oil.

You keep pushing your luck with political comments, I'd strongly recommend making this the last one.

How is that any different to the attitude of my posts? You and Dutch are quite the hypocrites when it comes to this; getting involved in the HCC/ERYC row amongst other things. Are you making a threat, OLM? I'd suggest you and Dutch lead by example before preaching to others.
