Just watched it, great stuff..........
Series 1 trailer...........
Think its just a difference of taste to be honest. I watched the entire first season of Lost and its basically TV faecal matter. The Narrative is all over the place, the plot is nonsensical and the writing definitely 3rd rate.
I've got A Walk Among The Tombstones for tonight.
You'll look silly in an alternate universe where he wins the golden boot. ... for 6 years in a row starting this season.
Peaky Blinders was excellent last night, lots of plots within plots and a good scrap in a London nightclub to boot. Still puzzled as to how after shooting the giant Irish blacksmith he managed to get him in the back of the car on his own?
Last night went to the flicks to watch 'The Equaliser' - The new Densil Washington movie. A solid 7.8/10
Watched this, thought it was very good, interested in seeing the first series now. I'd seen the name on the BBC site but thought it would be some documentary ****e or whatever. Really liked the overall tone and the acting is good bar Sam Neill's ****ing god awful Shankhill accent.
Yes. Originally starring Ewar Woowar (Edward Woodward). He used to shout bad guys to death, and get a younger fella to do the heavy lifting.
It was - but you could hardly tell. Densil was quality in it, almost made it into a brand new stand alone film. Big Densil fan since I first saw 'Man on Fire' - many years ago. Must be one of the best actors out there imo. This one's a bit OTT with plenty of violence etc. But shot really well. With Eminem doing the closing track for the film it was always going to go down well (not an Eminem fan, but appreciate his talent). On Eminem - I saw a documentary a while back on his lyrics from Proffessors from Oxford and Cambrdge - they studied the way he rhymes, and how he doesn't just rhyme the end of words but begining and the middle of words, the conclusion they came up with was he is the mordern day Shakespere Interesting watch though.
Finally finished Breaking Bad last night after putting it on hold after series 2. Overal - very, very good. Expected a little more due to all the hype, but did enjoy it. Series 3 and 4 were excellent, series 5 was very good, just ****ing annoying seeing Jessie pretty much crying the whole way through it. Nice final episode though Probably goes in my top 5 box sets - (not that I have the box set!) I own one boxset and that is 'The Wire' and is on top of my list by a mile
