This is what Warnock said about Campbell today 'Warnock was more annoyed at a perceived lack of consistency from the referee, Mike Dean. “I had to take Fraizer Campbell off because he got a silly booking but in the first minute he was body-checked, which should have been a yellow card,” he said. “Then just before half-time, there’s an elbow from [Michael] Dawson – I’ve seen red cards for less than that. The referee doesn’t see that but he sees all the little niggles that poor old Fraizer gets booked for.' Had high hopes somebody would kick the little s**t up the arse and he didn't seem too bothered by the 'fouls' going by that stupid smirk he has on his face constantly. Got to be one of the most reviled former players we see back at the KC, booed constantly
Warnock didn't mention how he kicked Robertson and Davies before receiving a fair shoulder challenge from Michael Dawson.
He did four bad tackles before getting booked, it was hardly undeserved. Neil Warnock would do anything in his powers to distract from the fact he got his tactics completely wrong today.
And it's Fraizer Campbell. FRAIZER. Got that? Even if he is a ****house and deserved the yellow and being subbed.......
but it riled him, put him off his game. He ended up taking it out on our defenders before getting booked and some of it back from Dawson. After the first 10 minutes he did nothing until he got took off. Job done.
So how many of our players thought all that nasty booing was at them? Is that why we were so poor first half?
I would have thought none. Elmo and Meyler and Bruce Snr would have told them of the reception he got when he played for Sunderland against us. Chester, Bruce Jnr, and Quinn would have joined in with a description of the last game we had in the championship, in which he scored.
The key thing was that our defence kept Phrasa in check today. Fraser got little change out of our central three defenders. TBH I'm not surprised Fraiseá got frustrated, he was that well marshalled throughout the game. Better luck next time Ffraizzua.
I thought Campbell was dirtier today than in any of his previous returns, he got what he deserved, **** him.
Colin can shove it! There were at least three swinging arms from Palace forwards in the first half, can't remember who from though. A full team of forgettable performances from them. One on Davis verged on a rake to the face.
