    It had gone in to print before it was announced though, Mike. They announced it on the site once clarified.

    SLP has its detractors, but I know they have some very reliable contacts within CAFC. Probably more within 'Wall and CPFC though, which is why they get knocked from a % of our fans.

    None of the Centre-Backs we have been linked with have really filled me with excitement to be honest. But I guess with Dailly and Dohertys experience, CP is looking to bring in up-and-coming Centre Backs - ones with potential and ones for the future. Yet isn't Taylor nearly 30?

    we're releasing him so was surprised he turned up

    but I agree nobody in their right mind would want him .. maybe Welling or that too much to ask of him
