Well, we rescued that half with a magic moment from Adam. Phew! He'll play better now with that under his belt.
Get in!!! Badly needed that because our attack just looks so toothless for the majority - sorry Rickie but you're an average footballer who should not be anywhere near this team. Happy Lallana has grabbed that goal - the only player who actually gives a sh*t
HT: Been a open and fairly even game but we've looked much better when attacking too, plenty of movement meaning our passing is back. There is space for players to run into because there isn't a big oaf sat in the middle sulking, hogging the ball when he gets it or shooting from 40yards!
It was a good goal yes, three or four passes between Lallana, Lambert and I think the other one was Moreno but may have been Coutinho huh. tidy finish from Lallana too.
Not hogging the space or ball though is he Is Lambert a better player then Mario? No. Is Lambert a better team player than Mario? Without doubt. That is all that matters to me #effort
I think Coutinho has looked better compared to his previous games. Lallana is showing his quality as he's got his fitness back, so a big middle finger to anyone questioning his price tag - he's a great player imo. Lambert struggling to get into the game still, that goal aside, but Sterling's our weakest player right now. Not really sure why that is...
Still looking pedestrian in comparison to last season at home though. However we look much better without Balotelli. I was in favour of getting him, thought it was worth a shot knowing it could go either way. I'm thinking sell him in the window and get someone better suited in. He said he'd adapt and change, he hasn't.
