Turn the clock back six months and it was us or them for the drop and the 1-1 draw helped know one except the Gas but 4th October 2014 seeâs second placed Chairboys welcome fifth placed Cobblers to Adams Park for a Football League 2 fixture a game only the most optimistic fan of the two teams would have thought would happen six months on. With only the Doc still on the treatment table and Danny Rowe recalled Gaz will be likely to stick with the same 11 that started against Cambridge last Saturday. Itâs been a very even match up between the sides at AP 3 wins a piece and 7 draws with all of the last 4 being all square so expect another but I will be taking my place in the Valley Terrace looking forward to another good performance and 3 points for the blues
Northampton have quite a few players out injured for tomorrow so we need to take advantage of that. Still think it will be a tough game but i can see Wycombe winning 1-0 or 2-1.Jordan Archer has not been as good for Northampton as he was for us i just hope he doesn't play a blinder.COYB!
I will be standing along side you Guy. Not so confident about this one as the cobblers are a pretty strong team on their day. More of a concern is, which one of the new pies to go for!
Had the cornish pasty last week they were on offer as was the cheese pasty I may have a chicken balti if I can beat you to the last one again
This will be a test for our defence. The League's top scorer returns for Northampton. In the League Northampton have only failed to score once, against Portsmouth, and are the League's highest scorers. The good news is that they let a few in. Can't see us going the whole game without the League's top scorer latching onto one. So we need at least 2 goals to win this. 3-1 would be nice but 2-1 will do.
He's on the bench Ron. Same line-up again for Wycombe.Would love a win today as The Football League Show will have a report on Wycombe tonight so will stay up to watch.
The way our defence is playing at the moment i feel confident he won't get many chances when he does come on even though he's a fantastic player.
This is not promising. We need to change something in the second half to stand any chance of getting out of this.
HT one nil down typical wilder lot long ball cheaters with a couple who can play we need to step it up second half
What an extraordinary finish. After a poor first half, sounds like we deserved the draw in the end. Well done Blues for fighting all the way.
that was the fight we didn't have last season, and weve got away with playing badly but getting a point which is an excellent result all things considered! what absolute nonsense regarding the ref towards the end - it sounded extraordinary! anyone who was there care to comment?
