No i never. There seems to be a lot of assumptions sometimes, in the same way that Tina made, that she thought i blocked out my swear words. They do not offend me but i would prefer not to have my filter set to swearing, matter of choice only. As for naked ladies, i've never bothered GC in my time as supermod, at least i know what its all about. What grates on me is when places like the Sunderland board try to do copycats of your domain on a football board. Not so much the content but when grown men act big on words on content behind a keyboard, regardless of this being a non age restricted site. At least if you come to GC you know what its about. I'm not here to cause an argument with anyone, not even Tina but i will not hide away from my own opinion. I noticed some did object on the Sunderland to the content but then a few individuals just shout them down. Big men eh?
I went on the Sunderland board once very odd people , If you don`t get paid I don`t see the logic in giving notice plus In all honesty just as long as the owner ie Mick doesn`t` get ****ty letters from governing bodies about posting porn the site should pretty much run itself. Try and look at it in perspective it`s just a Footy forum with mainly men posting crap. If you are upset just switch off your computer I doubt anyone will notice . true...but what grates is some aspects of this site want to bang on about freely, when if they look at themselves it has just become a clique rule, not much free about that imo. Personally it don't upset me and quite often i look in and smile at the banter on GC. But if i'm carrying the supermod title, then responsibility even as a volunteer comes with that. Like you say its a footie forum and within that part of the site, i believe its what it should remain....not an adult content or porn site. Mick gives members places to post that stuff, so why don't they go there...quite simply because its hey look at me i can cause controversy as a 20, 30, 40, 50+ something year old man....wow
I guess it`s a case of tolerance and a VIZ kind of humor that some lads have, for example if someone is outed as a pervert ie Saville this is the best place to go for first hand news without any PC nonsense reflecting on yourself personally. At times the juvenile contributors on here engage in debate about God Politics etc and that stuff has no place on a footy forum so they can vent on GC. The best approach is if GC sickens you don`t click on it simply keep arguing about flat back 4s or sweeper systems . As Yip is our Mod you shouldn`t worry about us and he has proven that it can be done without the threat of the dreaded ban hammer like Cyd used to . Anyhoo footies starting so I`m offski. Peace oot.
That's the thing though SN...as i said earlier I don't have a problem with GC...yeah i'm not all for it but i've spoken in its favour more than against and love reading the banter sometimes. I think people make too many assumptions why i get pissed off...oh he don't like pics, he don't like swearing...completely all untrue...like you say i have a choice. My biggest grate as i highlighted is so called men who think they are big behind a keyboard with their words, not meaning GC but the Sunderland board. One member some months back hit the Sunderland board with a taste of their own medicine, he got banned. But that's the irony of it in the clique rule, they don't like it when they get it back, but oh it's ok for them to act like that under this guise of freely. I was thinking earlier how many members have i perm banned from the site since my role as supermod and without agreement of the board. You know how many None!
I`m sure the people of Sunderland are just not very well educated or nice people so that reflects on their board. Just ban all the people that piss you off until they behave easy. As an outsider looking in it would seem as if you don`t really want to hang up your cape as a Supermod but feel pushed into it by Sunderland Internet hardmen. Just converse with Mick and steam into the Sunderland arseholes full fist.
