I am assuming you were not in the survey?! A new survey has found that Liverpool are everybody's favourite second team, with football fans saying the Anfield club are the least offensive side to follow in England (Metro)
In your case it's probably best to keep it simple. But most of us are capable of counting to 2, so it's no problem distinguishing between first and second.
This. Could never understand how spastics on the yellow bus and at school could support a Scottish team and a Nigel team. It's pretty widespread amongst dribbling hun *****s too, especially the strange English Hun link with Chelsea which was cemented in 2008 in Manchester when Chelsea fans dressed as Rangers fans got their heads kicked in by Celtic fans dressed as Manchester United supporting Police. Confused? So am I.
The whole point of this wonderful thread was more about people liking Liverpool, which I know Dan hates, whether people like 2,3,4 or 20 teams isn't really what I was on about you bunch of ****s.
On the contrary, it is quite simple: fans of the aforementioned clubs are complete ****-stains. Come on you Charlton!
So you don't look out for any other team's results apart from Celtic then? What's the point of that? Especially in a one-team league.
If there's any logic in your point then i've missed it. If it's an attempt at a wind up then you've shot wide of the mark by a considerable distance. To clarify, I have Zero interest or concern for any other club, I support Celtic and Celtic alone, their results are the only ones that matter to me, and why you think any other club's results would be of concern to me is a mystery, i'm happy for it to remain that way.
Now now dev, are you saying you dont check out invercallie's results to see if celtic have closed the gap ?
Are you allowed 2 teams if they are 2 different sports like Norwich and Chicago Bulls? or by 2 teams are you talking about homosexuality in which case the 2 team supporters are known as queers.
I'm interested in football, i'm guessing everyone on this forum does, but I don't see how that means everyone has to support a second team, which was the point being made and which I agreed with.
Thank you Monaco - if there was an award for the thread of the year we could dish it out now. I can only assume that the survey was conducted in mental institutions and among *****phile rings. Although i agree that you shouldn't have a second team it is entirely possible to like a team without supporting them.
Supporting a second team is for children who spend their time collecting stickers and cards or adults who have a tendency to see the face of Jesus in potatoes and slices of toast.
2nd teams are for ****s. I've told my kids already, they are free to choose every single aspect of their adult lives, from whom they marry to where they live - but unfortunately I will not permit them to have a free choice in football club. That's the one small-minded-inward-group-looking-prejudice that I'm surely allowed to force on the next generation.
