Elland Road - K.O 12:15

"We've got one lad who's let everyone down. He's let me down, the team down and the fans who travelled here," said Warnock. "It was one stupid moment." I don't know what else I can say, other than it was a ridiculous tackle."
#BlameTomLees

An uninspiring midweek draw left Darko Milanic demanding more from a Leeds side who although they have failed to score in the last two, have only lost one in the last 5 league games. Sheffield Wednesday have had a solid start to the season, with the League Cup game against Man City the only blot on their recently good form. They will fancy their chances at Elland Road, and Tom Lees may feel he has a point to prove to the Leeds fans.

There's a lot of history in this derby, with Leeds having the upper hand in previous meetings. Recent meetings have shared the points reasonably easily, but the 6-0 defeat last time the sides met will be all too fresh in the minds of the Leeds following.

Key Stats

• There have been under 2.5 goals scored in 8 of Leeds's last 9 home games in Championship.
• Leeds have kept a clean sheet in their last 3 home matches in Championship.
• There have been under 2.5 goals scored in 5 of Sheff Wed's last 6 games in Championship.

Against a team who have already kept 6 clean sheets this season, the Leeds forwards will have to prove their worth more so than in the last two games. Leeds have kept 3 home clean sheets on the bounce however, and will be looking to extend that run while being more expansive up front.

Big changes, Warnock back in for Cooper who in turn takes Pearce's place, Austin and Bianchi hold while Montenegro / Adryan / Doukara play behind Sharp. A change of shape to give us a bit of width might just refresh a lack of competence in front of goal recently.

Great thread as always.Ive gone for a draw. Hard to see us scoring against a mean defence. Im not convinced Montenegro or Adrayan will figure. Wish they would

I think you bhave made a valid point about the mean defence of Wed so we need a striker who is a blade supporter to heart Billy Sharp for one and I would bring in Montenegro he seems to know where the goals are drop Doukara to the bench
Totally agree with the back 4 midfield Austin ,Bianchi Adryan and Montengro Sharp and Antenucci

I hope we get off to a fast start for a change, and just go on all out attack for the whole 90 minutes. Plenty of chances created, loads of shots on target. How refreshing would that be?

I don't want to see another 0-0 boring stalemate, waiting till the last 5 minutes to register a shot on target. There's enough attacking players in the squad to at least have a go.

Seems the general consensus around the club is one of acceptance of mediocrity. So we managed to earn a point at home against the mighty Reading. Phew! That's a relief <doh> The fact it's looked upon as a achievement shows how low the expectation levels have sunk. We're showing these teams far too much respect even before the games start, even Brentford ffs

Having said all that I'm actually expecting more of the same, a turgid, drab affair where we're scared to lose. 1-1

Morning all. I've finally signed up after being a long time reader of here and ja since the old bbc site closed. You've all kept entertained with the banter on here specially through the boring days of the close seasons. Here's to a resounding win today to keep all Leeds fans dreaming of a long awaited return to the Prem.

They have six clean sheets and our strikers pose no treat at present so a boring 0-0 is on the cards. Of course, Adryan may play and with his assists we could score six <cheers>
