"Because you don't agree with them don't make them inappropriate." Would you use that same line to a friend. "Aw well, your alive and your grampa's bones ate in the ground. So that is more important" Of course you wouldn't. Who would have thought showing a little respect to the War dead would cause such a comotion.
They're not rules, Medro. It's just common sense. Every article you've started about this kind of thing has ended in a squabble. It's just too contentious an issue. I have to question your motives.
But feel free to come on to an article remembering an important day in history and tell them not to be so serious and to post more comedic articles. Maybe an article about "gay sports"
what i also said was that if you want to honor war dead dont get involved in a point scoring argument.
It is clear that you have been colonised by those American traitors. By rights, you should be speaking German now!
cheers willi, i had a nagging suspicion about that. i'll pass on the german thing, you're beers alright but your cooking's even worse than ours
It was not intended to ruffle feathers. But I'm sure as hell not gonna be lectured on here about what I can and cannot post.
...but a rubbish Sheikh. Spending his days trying to wind up the Shia instead of focussing on our common enemies. No splitters for this Sheikh
Lest we forget indeed Its a shame that the services of the colonies are never recognised in this country. Many Indians and muslims died (no pakistan bangladesh then) protecting this country during WW1 and WW2. There are memorials everywhere (including France) but never see it or hear it mentioned in this country Weird how things work out, we had the cold war where the russians were enemy numero uno, yet they were vital in past war victories in determining overall victory Now its the muslims yet they also had many a soldier die for the cause that is Britain I think we have forgotten, and more the shame
