Ian talks a lot of football sense on 20p. Mark, who also rings every game comes out with utter rubbish. 1 football cliché after another, drives me nuts. Daft as a brush.
There is nothing wrong with them.... just there is no need for them. It's pointless making a thread like this as the only comments it gets is negative ones and other members taking the piss. Which isnt good for the growth of this site. It looks terrible logging on and seeing about 5 or 6 threads not football related with no comments. It will put people off and it looks like spam.... He needs to either stop posting random stuff or instead of threads make them comments.
I agree with you shiny but a lot of NTTDS stuff is information, why doesn't he just run a single NTTDS thread and just update it every day, a lot of his style I enjoy, especially his match day photos, unique to our board but keep it to one thread, he could even sticky it..
Sorry wiz i disagree mate. No offense to NTTDS as like you said, his photos are great for the site but i'd say 90% of this threads are useless drivel that nobody gives a flying f*** about. Most of the comments on his threads are our lot taking the piss out of him joined with the blue few having a pop. It's embarassing. Yesterday i read a thread about a fuse blowing up!!! I mean for goodness sake its a bristol city FOOTBALL forum (one we built up to be very active) It's taking the piss mate and ruining the site. It wouldnt be so bad if he commented reguarly but he rarely does. Of course this is just my opinion (that is shared by many) but its putting me off so god knows what it does to fans browsing...
I am not in disagreement with you mate but this site is f**ed up at the moment, it's like Déjà vu all over again, I'm making excuses and fire fighting every day to keep the thing afloat but I'm seriously considering my thinking again, Supermods leaving, forum performance going to pot, I'm taking insults all of the time, I agree with massive, it's crap but see what happens before I decide, not so bad this time for me..
Joking aside, NTTDS needs to take note of our comments. Before he turned up we were a thriving thread and because a few MODS stood down having other commitments etc he became a MOD, yes we still are 'thriving' but his postings aren't up to the interest of our posters,(imo) infact maybe driving us away. Being blunt NTTDS either takes up Wiz's idea of a NTTDS version of Schott's Original miscellany or stops posting '****e'. 90% of his threads are bollocks, I don't want to upset his feelings but you have to be some type of **** not to realise by now we think your threads are ****. I've put this very politely so hopefully any future postings maybe more interesting/on topic towards BC FC supporters rather than a Terry ****wit subject that's meaningless. In our present position in league 1 and the positive start to this season would give plenty of food for thought rather than the A11 has temporary traffic lights for travellers going to Bury St Emdmunds/Norwich on the 03/10/14 (thats today) ...blah
