Argubably been the reason we have conceded so many goals this season! I actually don't rate any of the 3 GK's that we have! Its not a matter of who's better its a matter of who's worst! We've always had good GK's at Hull, but I have to say under Steve Bruce, we have had some shockers (stockdale,McGregor,jakupovic,harper) Bruce should of signed Mannone!
Strongley disagree!! can only be because we have had so many loan keepers recently to make him our best permanent GK .....he was ok last season but struggled with long distance shots! but this season he has been an absolute joke! nothing in recent memory backs up your point that he has been our best GK! his average in conceding (could blame the defence) is 2 goals a game! (this season) that isn't good enough! if you think it is, that's your opinion! but don't diminish my opinion by saying he is our best GK because that is matter of opinion I am afraid!
The last decent permanent keeper we had was Myhill and he left over four years ago, so it wasn't really opinion, it was a fact. I don't think the loan keepers we've had were as good either, though I think Mannone's been improving all the time.
In all fairness, You brought up the permanent GK thing so maybe your opinion is true! but I think Mannone is alot better GK than McGregor and yes I agree that Myhill was our best GK in recent memory! .....if you think McGregor is a good GK, that is your opinion and your are entitled to it, I just don't agree and I'm not the only one and on current form, I am pleased bruce has decided to rest him for whatever reason!
I did say for whatever reason, maybe this is the reason, maybe it isn't. bruce has said it is, but I'm less Gullible than you!
That reminds me, are the multiple account issues all sorted now or are they still to be passed on to the Supermods?
The multi-posters were not forthcoming and there's unfortunately some changes going on with the supermods at the moment, so we'll just have to review it ongoing.
What you get with Harper is calmness personified which helps the defence no end But.. he ain't gonna make the saves that McGregor does
I like McGregor a lot but had been disappointed in his performance in recent weeks, and had argued that he had not been the same since his serious injury last season. However the news that he has been suffering from a shoulder injury for some time and is going to be out for several weeks explains things in my opinion. Get well soon Greegsy. I'd still much prefer Jakupovic rather than Harper between the posts tomorrow and in his absence though. Lets hope he (McG) won't be out for too long.
In my opinion Allan was a fantastic keeper last year but this year he has been a bit of a liability, (stoke equaliser, cisse 1st goal not covering near post,lokren goal) he showed it last year aswell making some mistakes that cost us games and seen as we are improving the squad and its not far from being fantastic I personally would go in for a new goalkeeper. Thoughts?
