2015... Merc to stay the same.. Redbull to stay the same.. Ferrari to be Button and Hulk McLaren to be Alonso and KMag Williams confirmed they are staying the same.. Lotus to be Maldonado and AN Other FI to be Perez and Grosjean Suaber to be Estiban and Bianci Torro Rosso already confirmed Marussia are they even going to be on the grid? Caterham, I'm doing a sponsored swim to raise enough money for a race seat (if they make it onto the grid next year..) You heard it here first!
@pitlanetalk: Full story by SportBild: http://t.co/96CTVMId1H. Alonso is 100% out of Ferrari and Vettel is on his way to replace him. #F1 #Formula1 @pitlanetalk: The last tweet is just speculation from our side, nothing concrete. It could be Kvyat or Verstappen replacing Vettel. #F1 #Formula1
Verstappen straight into a Red Bull It does put Red Bull in a pretty tough position - Kvyat is probably not ready, Vergne is probably not talking to them... if Vettel leaves, who do they get?
Frankly I wouldn't be surprised if Red Bull ended up promoting Buemi given that he still hangs around with them as a "test driver".
if Vettel goes to Ferrari, the second seat there will be very interesting, i could see them promoting Kvyat, but who then steps in at Toro Rosso? Does that mean they promote Sainz Jr or do they throw Vergne a lifeline? It would be kinda funny if they put Vergne in the Red Bull after sacking him in the junior team! Verstappen to Red Bull won't happen for at least another year... though i will admit i was very impressed by him in free practice. Absolute night and day to the first time i saw Gutierrez, for example.
Wow, lots of people reporting that vettel to ferrari is imminent. Want to be seen to be kicking alonso out I suppose?
Martin Brundle ‏@MBrundleF1 2m 2minutes ago Riiciardo and Kvyat at Red Bull in 2015 That confirms Vettel is gone. Vettel to Ferrari, Alonso likely to Mclaren. (I think Lotus is his best bet though) Who'll be in at TR? Vergne?
I have a sneaking suspicion there's a huge, huge twist yet to come..... Alonso AND Vettel to McLaren, anyone?
With Vettel presumably off to Ferrari and Alonso to McLaren the situation isn't looking good. I've got to hope either KMag is the one getting the axe or Kimi calls it quits last minute. It feels like game over to me.
