Well don't expect miracles and be ready for some howlers. You'll feel more nervous than usual at free kicks.

If he doesn't chuck it in his own net against Forest or Coventry he'll be a vast improvement from our goalkeepers last season.

Seriously, take Weale or Ricardo on for 6 months, then see what you think of Kasper. Go on I dares ya!

Just a quick point, Elland Road is by far more impressive than that soulless mechano crisp bowl that you've got. And yes, I have been.

It's so modern it has a marquee instead of a TV screen to show the scores <laugh>

You mean that one stand is impressive. And it makes the rest look ridiculous.

Don't get me wrong Leeds have great away support but I've been to Bellend Road (yes, I went there, it's no more immature than calling it the crisp bowl every time <doh> ) - don't make out it's any less soulless than our stadium, because it's not, and your home support is pretty bog standard.

Elland Road has so much character I can't even put it into words. All the history that has happened there, you can feel it. And as for the east stand, the way it towers over you is quite magnificent, looking up at it is sublime. It is a very, very impressive structure. When it was built it was the biggest cantilever in the world, you know.

That crisp bowl you've got isn't even slightly impressive. There's nothing unique about it it's just like all the other bowls, the Liberty, the KC, the Ricoh. All equally symetrical and soulless and generally unimpressive.

Forest have quite an impressive stadium though. I enjoyed my trip to the City Ground.

At this moment there are a lot of things I'd find more surprising than that scenario. I don't have much confidence in what's going to happen at Leeds over summer and my hopes lie on the shoulders of Grayson, and him somehow getting a mediocre team to perform significantly above their grade.

    This made me <laugh>

You can't put it into words because you don't know what it means! You're just spouting cliches.

You make your own character, I only had the pleasure of going to Filbert Street a few times, those who remember it better have great memories of it and remember it's character'. But I've been to the Wharf around 80+ times I'd guess. Life is never dull at LCFC and I have plenty of great memories from going down there - great games, funny moments, cracking atmospheres. My favourite has to be Big Steve's winner against you though, absolute carnage. Shut you lot up to after a season of mouthing off, all the better. :)

It is home to me and the whole place is brimming with character because of the memories and times I've had there.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - personally I think Elland Road is Pug Ugly, no wait Pug Fugly, I'd rather have a symmetrical ground like ours (oh and by the way we're adding another tier on the East Stand in 3 years - what will you have to say then?) than your one massive one stand 3 midget stands thing. Seriously, it just looks stupid. But being the home of the team you support I'm sure it's different for you...

Every fan has that special feeling when they go to their home ground but I just can't imagine feeling it about a kit built modern stadium. The first time I ever went to Elland Road I felt it, that was before I had any memories of going there, since it was my first time.

A lot of fans of clubs with these modern purpose built stadiums go on about how much better they are than stadiums like Elland Road that have been built up over decades, but I simply don't get it. They are all the same, the accoustics are generally poor, and the only plus point is a slightly better view and a bit more leg room. Since the majority of us at Elland Road stand, the point about leg room isn't even relevant. There's also the fact that the massive East stand was built to similar standards as any new stadium gets, so half the fans don't even have to put up with the downsides of such an old stadium.

I'll admit the acoustics are poor, can't argue with that. I'd also like the stands to be closer to the pitch, though this could happen one day in the future.

I've been to away games at modern grounds and the atmosphere's been decent. I've also been to away games at old grounds and the atmosphere's been ****. I'm sure you could say the same.

It aint all about the stadiums, like I said I agree the acoustics aren't good at the Wharf but we usually create a good atmosphere, I stand 2 blocks from the away fans so acoustics isn't an issue.

A club's soul belongs with it's fans, we create our own atmosphere and we'll create our own history in the many years we've got to look forward to. I get a special feeling every time I go down there, I don't envy you for watching your football in a old stadium, I really don't.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure your fans moan about how the atmosphere's diminished since the days when terracing was allowed, as we all do, old stadium or not.

    These Leeds jibes are priceless.

Above Schmeichel has been described as "deteriorating" - he's 24
A reject - yet Leeds fans are upset about the deal
"sign for a mid table championship club against his will" - wtf does that even mean, he held a gun to his head?

We'll see who 'fails' this season shall we <ok>

I trust Sven more than the muppets at your club.

Emily clearly has one, he's either misinformed or he's pretending I'm a Leeds fan now.
