    Morning Durham,

I'm sure Cellino chips in now and again. I don't believe he picks the team. He had a bit of a go at Darko last week for not bringing on Morison.

This suggests to me he's not picking the team

Aide I am sure we have bought Doukara but for less than you state around 500k other than that I cant fault what you state so we have the nucleus of A a taem for less than half what we got for Ross! I think thats good business as i feel that we will get all that and more for Silvestri a real find plus I like Cooper Bianchi Beluscoli all amazing value for money

Morning Forza, Hocks came accross very much as a yes man. I'd be surprised if he ordered that substitution. Warnock is probably one of the best players of the season so far. He'd be cutting his nose off despite his face

Morning all. I think Warnock was droppeed so that Cooper could better cover the pace of their RW. Expect to see him back tomorrow. Byram will remain at rb, as Beradi is a liability. I hope Sharp starts to give the other 2 a bit of a jolt. Mybe Antennuci will revert to the bench.

Should be a good game. Hope Leeds scrape a 1-0 win, but can see us losing this one.

That is what I find strange, the guy only stepped into the country a week ago and after one game he makes such a dubious call, he knew Blackman had pace, he didn't think Warnock would be good enough and he thought a CB who he hadn't seen play would be better equipped, a lot of thought into that one position for someone who has hardly seen the team play unless he never made the call or unless it was strongly suggested to him <ok>

A very good morning to you Mike!

Peace one card away from a one match suspension.

Berardi on bench then, and start with Byram?

Bianci seems consistent. I'd love to see what Adryan and Montenegro can do. Who would you drop.

Maybe go 4/5/1 with either Doukara or Sharp up front.

Yes, Blackman has pace. Warnock would have found it difficult to contain him.

Can't understand this, Warnock has never been blessed with great pace, but has still played at a higher level against fast wingers. Its more to do with playing with your head than your legs. I would have backed Warnock over Cooper on the day.

I'm not having anyone tell me Cooper is more equipped to deal with a pacy winger.

The amount of times the attacker shifted the ball from one foot to the other and left Cooper stood square on and stranded was unbelievable.

    Warnock has to play

I do understand what you are saying. Reading were playing with Ian Harte at centre back in the starting line up when Harte was 36 / 37 yrs, and he was not blessed with pace in his early 20's.

Think we need to understand Warnock is approaching 33, and as he is in form, perhaps we were just resting him, as we had a player that needed a game, and could do an adequate job in that position?

I agree, BUT he has picked up a few knocks in the last couple of games. Having two games three / four days apart, why not rest Warnock for one them. He's our oldest player...

Exactly and add to this what The Don has pointed out and it is a strange one, well it isn't, personally it is glaringly obvious that Cellino IS having a say on team selection and formation. McD, Hockaday, Redfearn and now Darko all playing the same formation, no way.

http://www.thescratchingshed.com/20...sfers-and-stephen-warnock-is-he-on-countdown/ some interesting points and stats in regards to how he is our best defender this season although the article is now a month old.

Not particularly surprised to see that Dougie Freedman has left Bolton "by mutual consent".

Hi all .. Warnock probably needed a rest, for a number of games he looked shattered towards the end, so not worried at all, but move Cooper to CB and stick Pearce on bench .. Adryan and Montenegro off the bench will be good ... can't play Cook and Mowatt together, so for me I'd go Murphy Bianchi Mowatt Austin tomorrow, at least that midfield should win tackles in a derby ... Sharp to start alongside anyone else ... welcome to the new faces, glad to have you on board

Why can't you play Cook & Mowatt togethr Billy?

On Warnock, Milanic said leading up to Tuesday's game that Warnock was rested to allow Cooper to deal with they pacy winger that Reading had. By the sound of things, he didn't do a great job. Personally if he is still with us, I'd have played White being the quickestLB we've got. But we didn't lose. So all's well.

For Saturday, I really wnt to see Adryan playing some part so we can see what we've got and whether or not he's worth signing idc. On Montenegro, where does he play and who's place might he taken, even off the bench? I also agree with Billy. Sharp to start.

    Afternoon all

Yup same as you Damned. One of my cousins is a Bolton fan and he was fuming over their performance mid week.

Can't stand the term mutual consent, just tell us you forced him to resign
