Another month lads so you know what to do.

I'll revamp the rules and if there's no improvement this month, I'll end the award as it's had it's day and would have run its course!

If that's the case, this'll be the last month.

I nominate millwall steve for failing to keep the only thing worth reading on this board vibrant and interesting. It is absolutely fitting that he receives the last award on the Wallie board, before it moves to the massive Leeds forum and he sees how it should be done....

Steve you might as well close the nom thread and move straight to the vote.

Steve, I would like to draw your attention to the following rule :-

(1) The winning nominator will have to award the trophy to the winner by starting a new thread, in the event of the eventual winner receiving multiple nominations (for the same reason) then the first winning nominator of the eventual winner will have to do the honours.

As I was the only person to vote for Stu, and knowing rule 4 (4 In the event of a tie the defending champion will automatically retain the trophy by default as before), then surely it was my job to give out the award.

I note with interest that I was nominated last month for almost the exact same thing.

I will speak to my legal advisers at Glory-Chesh and Co legal advisers and get back to you in due course

I've always award it in the event of a retention if it's a tie as you'd have surely noticed before Matt?

You was nominated for awarding it to Stu the first month he won it after Minxy had already awarded it to him, therefore you was a SB for doing that and got nominated.

Again, I have to draw your attention to rule 4.

Just because you've got away with flouting the rules for so long, it doesn't mean you are fallible.

My nomination was for a SIMILAR offence, which is what I said.

 

So you're drawing my attention to a rule that I haven't flouted as I've only always awarded the trophy in the event of a tie for the past two years, but you haven't said anything before and yet you want to nominate me?!

You better go away and think about it a bit more Matt!

 

When you're in a hole it's best to stop digging Matt!

That's the original rule since the SB trophy began Matt and one that I haven't changed, I never made a reference one way or the other who was going to award it in such circumstances.

 

Let me quote you directly Steve.

My legal team and I have read the rules very carefully, and nowhere can we see a clause saying MillwallSteve reserves the right to award it in the event of a retention if it's a tie.

I can double check if you like!!!

 

Correct Matt, correct in that if there's an outright winner then the winning nominator awards the trophy but I award it in the event of a tie as it's my thread and always have done.

Go back to your legal team with that?

IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE IF ITS A TIE.

As stated in the rules if its a tie the Champion retains the award.

AND the winning nominator awards the prize / award to the winner
