If I was Thompson, I would be requesting to play left back in all the training - and at home just practising with my left foot. My Dad taught me that as a kid and always a pretty good left foot on me!
That is a good shout SK, he would do as a sort term fix, but it is only the beginning of the transfer window really, due to all the players being free from their Contracts (for what they are worth) I would like an established LB in before Aug!
Ideally we'llget a left back in, but seeming we have 3 right backs and no left ones, I'd like them to concentrate on one and train him up in that position! The very least he'd be a back-up if we do sign a left-back - and if he excels in the position, then we have another utility player
