Oh yes. Very good, not as good as fallout 3 but very good none the less, almost identical in gameplay. Just a new map which again is massive. Don't forget you can get both games with the expansion packs already built in making the games even bigger.

Ive turned it around, had 4 games after work before the missus got home. Played 4 won 3 lost 1

Beat West Brom 2-0 but had my best cb sent off
Welcomed Sunderland to Selhurst, got dicked 3-0
Went to Old Trafford 1-0 up then 2-1 down got it back to 2-2 then last minute got the ball out right with Zaha cut in side and hit a hopeful shot with his left, straight in the bottom corner. Won 3-2
Then Liverpool at home, concede straight away and thinking here we go again. Equalised through a pen. Went 2-1 up with a class run and finish by Bolasie hes got pace to burn. Liverpool were really putting the pressure on and pushing men up. Got the ball on the counter and one through ball sliced then in half, Bolasies pace beat the last man and he slipped bit past Mignolet. Thought I was home and hosed but gave away a silly goal 3-2. Played a bit of keep ball and chipped through balls into the corners to tick the clock down. Refs whistle goes and I get the win and im out the bottom 3. 17th with 11points after 12 games.

We are staying up I say we are staying up!

I'm restarting it tonight, going to go the nasty way this time and blow Megaton off the face of the planet! MWAHAHAHAHA!

Nothing beats Super Mutant hunting in the DC Ruins though

Quality, will have to play that. I played the first fallout twice, once the evil way and once the good way. I couldn't take the speech from dad at the end when he said how disappointed he was in me, so I had to replay as a good person lol. Will always go good first time around in future.

The second one you're courier who's mugged of his parcel known a the Platinum chip, the main story line is his quest to retrieve it, there's also a huge side story involving three factions who are at war to control the Hoover dam which is still operational and providing power. You can get New vegas for about 3 0r 4 quid but I recommend the ultimate edition as you get the expansions but more importantly most of the glitches are ironed out.

Well it's definitely going to come sooner or later pal, the guy who does the voiceover for the radio, can't recall his name but he tweeted ages ago that he's been in for 'recordings' or something. So it's a case of when not if, although there is rumours lately that they're handing it over to Battle Studios, as BS are knee deep in ES6.

I'm gonna give FO3 a shot again I reckon, everybody seems to rate it a lot.

Get the GOTY Edition. Bad side of it is the unavoidable first bit in the vault which is **** but you're through it in half an hour.

Was that on the standard game as well? That might be why I didn't like it <laugh>

Just got into Assassins Creed 4 which I thought I'd hate, so maybe I'm more open minded nowadays <ok>

Yeah it is. If you remember it starts with your birth where you design what you look like. then you have to go to school to learn your initial skills and strengths, then you have to overthrow the Vault leader, then you leave the vault and the real game starts. Then it's like skyrim but less colourful and with duel combat options(Normal 1st/3rd p shooter, or use Vats for a more turn based approach)

Vaguely I recall it, I ditch a lot of games after an hour or so, Bioshock was another I could never get into and Gears Of War.

I did like NV though so I will give it another shot.

Bioshock was mental. Don't tend to go for those sort of game. I want gaming hours. Fallout has 100s of hours. Can complete games like bioshock in less than a day. I tend to pick games up like that when they're a couple of quid as they're just not worth the money imo.

Yeah, openworld games usually offer value for money if they can keep you occupied, some are really good, like Red Dead Redemption... there's always something to do along the way to a mission.

For value for money, I reckon The Witcher 3 will be worth every penny, it's something like 4 times the size of Skyrim and packed with detail.

On the whole they're not worth buying for the entertainment on offer, but this time next year I'd say they'll be much better equipped.

Well that's it, they're cheep enough when the best titles come out, what's more the technology problems will be ironed out.

Thanks mate, Sounds good fun, if it's anything like the first I'll enjoy it.
I always tend to wait for ultimate editions anyway with open world games like this for just that reason, these types of games always have glitches galore. I'll get it when I go home to see the parents this weekend.

read dead redemption is one of my favourite games, i didn't think id like the whole cowboy theme but it actually worked really well and loved the open world sandbox element

itd be brilliant next gen, i do tend to not be interested in linear games anymore, I've not played gta 5, i can't wait to play it

the gfx on the xbox1 are insane and its got much more cars and people etc due to the more power of next gen, its mind blowing
