Humberside Fire and Rescue Service was called to the blaze shortly before 8am. A spokesman said 13 engines were tackling the fire, which covers an area of 100-metres by 150-metres. Specialist officers are trying to establish what types of materials are on fire, and residents are being asked to keep their doors and windows closed. The site is empty and the fire service says there are no reports of people in the building. Cleartech Waste Services Limited went into liquidation earlier this year. Firefighters at the scene told the Mail a building was in danger of collapsing. Police warned motorists to avoid the area. Parts of Oslo Road, Copenhagen Road, Stockholm Road and Helsinki Road are closed. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Majo...tory-23032822-detail/story.html#ixzz3Eyj9lD67

A roof is being tarred across the road from my flat, ****ing stinks, how come im not being evacuated ?
The company went bust, but all their stuff could still be in the building while the administrators sort things. If it was, they've got an easy job now.
I saw it this morning as I was walking to the bus stop, and I thought it was another wind turbine that had gone up in flames at first. Also, we have a lot of roads named after Scandinavian capital cities...
