    Not under Dave apparently.

Scrapping the HRA is ****ing stupid as well. Britain. Led the way in compiling the European Convention on Human Rights which is why the Human Rights Act sits so snugly with that.

Dave wants to replace it with some vague British bill of rights or some such ****. All that is is a swipe at Europe to the benefit of no **** but a sop to the Eurosceptics.

He's promised to raise the threshold by 2020, which after 6 years means he may be raising it by slightly more than inflation (wheyhey!). Although at that point 50k a year won't buy you an average property in London at 10x your salary, yet Guardian readers will be still be furious at you.

It's quite an illogical thought process that the 'anti-tax cut' brigade possess, after all, surely a tax cut benefits them too, if they are in employment that is.

If the state taxes less of YOUR money, the YOU get to spend more of the money that YOU earn on things that helps the economy grow, which in turn puts up profits at the shops and retailers (more corporation tax)where YOU spend YOUR money, where those shops then need to hire more people due to increased footfall, which in turn creates less unemployment and less government dependency and then we get more tax cuts?

    Yes?

2% unemployment on the Isle of Man says Yes. The IOM Government also takes in more tax per head than the UK, since almost every **** is too stupid to save, so they go out and spend their money straight away pushing sales VAT and alcohol and fuel taxes back to the Government whilst creating employment in the process.
