It all depends, ;-), Liverpoo have no proper play makers to feed him the ball, we have Ozil-Sanchez, they could help Balo.

Will judge further down the line based on more than a handful of games... as any sensible fan of football would do.

Why does that matter? Even if they had the players, Balotelli would still not that many goals because his movement is do ****e. He is a lazy bastard who prefers to try and score wonder goals rather than a bursting a gut to score a simple tap in. The amount times he just picks up the ball and blasts from 25 yards is ridiculous. Welbeck offers so much more. Even if he is not scoring he is linking the play, working his socks off or keeping defences on their toes with his pace and movement.

Eh? Are you seriously insinuating Rodgers and Wenger buy players based on watching them in just a handful of games?

The mighty SAF signed a player (bebe) without even watching him kick a ball,

Let's not jump the gun so quickly. Let's evaluate the situation at the end of the season and see who is the better signing.

It's such a shame to see such a talented footballer like Balo under perform the way he does. He has all the attributes to be a top top striker - pace, power and skill.

I'll wait until the end of the season to answer. So far it looks like we have the better deal, but things change in football. For all we know, Welbeck gets benched when the handsome donkey returns.

Don't be so naive. I'm saying exactly the opposite about Rodger's and Wenger. There's no way they signed Balotelli and Welbeck based on watching them in a few games. Which is why I countered your 'handful of games comment' asking how you thought their respective managers would have approached their signings.

My comment wasn't aimed at them. It was aimed at you. You judge players after a handful of games.

<laugh> There you were the other day whining about me after I said that 'we' wanted Arsenal to play quicker, trying to turn it into a 'how do you know what people think' stupid spat and yet here you are now trying to tell me what I think.

You totally misunderstood my comment about rodgers and wenger and made a silly misinformed judgement about me. In the process you have shown yourself to be rather pathetic and hypocritical.

Anyway, having watched Balotelli for a number of seasons. I think he is a lazy arse who does nothing for his team mates, has a nasty streak of indiscipline in him and scores the odd wonder goal. I'm much happier we've signed Welbeck who works hard, is really mobile, has proved he can finish and has a much better haircut

Not in the slightest. This thread is evidence you've made your judgement on both Welbeck and Balotelli already after a handful of games. I don't pretend to make up what I think you're thinking... I'm basing it on your own thread. And now your back pedalling and trying to get the last word.

And do please explain your Rodgers and Wenger comment. I still don't understand the point you're trying to make with it. Though I'm sure you'll claim that that's because it's a really intelligent and insightful comment..

And your second comment is more like it. Sensible, logical and thought out.
