That's why I think the investors will be Asian. With them and Ki on board, there would be a hell of a lot of revenue to tap into in the Asian market with the right people overseeing it.

foreign investment? - thanks but no thanks! im proud of the way weve risen from the ashes, doing things the right way, run by people who care about the club and with fans on board - would I jeopardize that for a shot at the Champions League etc - NO WAY! there are enough examples of clubs hitting the wall, chasing the big time and being taken for a ride by billionaires looking for their next fashion accessory.

tbh im well disillusioned with the way football has evolved over the years with absurd players salaries and owners with no connection to the club. its not that we are seperate from all that but its a minor miracle that we have come through the leagues and are holding our own wihilst living within our means and sticking to some kind of principles. long may it continue but if it doesnt so be it - im enjoying the ride now but if it ends i ll still be here supporting the Swans

I think most Swans fans would agree with that exiled, but it looks like this is much ado about nothing and that Jenkins was simply looking at commercial tie-ups. Nothing to see here.

I think we've all said that the commercial side needs vast improvement so I see nothing wrong with it from that aspect.

Agree I don't read anything from Huw that says he wants a takeover from some spoilt rich brat, I have no issue with sponsorship deals or investment though, but no way would I be pleased with the Glazer type coming here.

It is inevitable now that huw has publicly come out and said the club has approached people from around the world for investment that it wont be very long before we get new owners and new people running the club. This announcement is a way of telling the fans that they are prepared to sell their shares for a huge profit. The club has always looked and got small investments ever since we have been in the premiership and huw never made it public about that....you can bet that the board members are looking to sell the club and in today's market it wont be that hard.

I am amazed that we haven't had potential foriegn owners all over the club, bearing in mind what we have done over the llast few years, the standing of the club amongst other clubs and so called experts, the fact that we are one of the only clubs that are not in debt. I am sure there are prople out there who would love to get their hands on our club.

I for one don't want that but, if it is sold I hope that HJ gets that desicion spot on as he has done with nearly all heas made so far.

It is plain now that we have reached our limit or close to it anyway too the maximum the club can afford in transfer fee's,running costs etc. We are only a small club and for us to compete in the future as prices rise then we have no choice than to look for investors. I can understand that....Because we don't own our own stadium then that can become an issue for big investments, I have always said that we need our own purpose built stadium where we have full control and not pay rent that ends up money lost. Its ok in the lower leagues but not in the top flight where you have to grow to keep up with the rest. We are being held back at the liberty and should never have gone there but then again we did not know how successful we would become.. It's strange but our success is starting to become a problem and that is the club needs big investments and that puts us in a catch 22 position of needing investment to continue growing and getting the right investors willing to put vast sums of money into a club limited to ground share....
