No press conference today but a continuation of the internal video interviews between Kit and Sarah Brookes - So no "great changes" for this game. The question then is whether Kit will start with the eleven who finished the game on Saturday; ................Bettinelli............ ..Hoogland...Bodurov...Burn....Amorebieta.... ....................Parker........... ....Christensen...................Stafylidis.... ..................McCormack............. ...........Woodrow......Rodellaga... Think he might well do.
I agree with that C58 - pretty much the only question is whether we play Woodrow, Ruiz, Smith or David alongside Hugo & McCormack. Stafylidis for Hyndman is obvious; Hyndman needs to be brought in slowly. We could see Ryan Williams in that CM role too, he has played pretty well when given the chance.
Bettinelli; Hoogland, Bodurov, Burn, Amorebieta; Parker; Christensen, Stafylidis; Ruiz; McCormack, Rodallega
Sounds like we've been on top and had a few good chances to extend the lead, need to start taking them!!
Please can today be the day that we actually play well in both halves. Would do wonders for confidence if we could grab another couple. Not to get carried away though, the win is by far the most important thing.
They were listening!!! This is all a bit strange, all this winning and playing well, I could get used to it though.
I can almost see everyone's reservations about Kit dissolving by the minute.... COYW! More of that in the 2nd half please!
Well, Middlesbrough & Norwich are probably better tests for Kit. I'm enjoying these games though, certainly not complaining if we can win three in a row!
We have a run of tricky games coming up, Boro, Norwich etc. If we can come out of these with respectable scores/performances and a few points to show for it then Kit deserves his chance.
He's not doing himself any harm though is he! We would have lost these games under Felix. Boro and Norwich will definitely be tougher tests, but if we don't win or even if we lose, I think he'll be slightly hard done by if he's judged on those games alone. I have as many reservations about the other candidates as I do about Kit. But enough of this for now, COYW!
Nothing against George Williams or Cauley Woodrow (especially as Williams just assisted the fourth goal as I type), but is this not the perfect time to get Roberts on? Hoogland for the golden boot! Edit: As I hit post, we bring Roberts on.
Yes, yes it can. The young lads on for a bit more experience and the likes of Parker, Rodallega and McCormack getting a well earned rest.
