A million times this in bold, it's ****ing ridiculous that, andthe way players slalom you can't get near them, it's reducing now but first few games every goal I scored I conceded straight after, the gaps like you mention are ridiculous and it doesn't matter how you set up your formation it still happens. Aaaarggghh!
Yeah I love a good openworld game, Skyrim was something totally different for me but I really liked it. The freedom element, as opposed to the linear gameplay is great for me, linear keeps my attention for maybe an hour or two max say on Call Of Duty or similar, but like you I can play openworld for 6 hours at a time easily, especially on a wet winters day when I don't wanna leave the house.
Mate I used to be like Suicide Shafiq on CoD, just blasting into every room/rooftop/alley and end up having the most fun ever on a game, nowadays it just seems as if the hardcore are left on CoD and the rest have ****ed off, nobody is interested in being chased about by a dork with a helicopter after 3 seconds of an arena, leave em to it. Do ya reckon there's anybody still knocking about on the old MW2 maps? I couldn't check now my XBLive is reg'd to my One now.
its way way worse on this new one than it used to be, it's basically luck you dont concede, due to the way the team is set up automatically, once they break past the 2, they only need to get past 1 of your back line as their spread so far apart, it infuriates me, last night, i scored, then they scored from kick off, then i scored from kick off, and they almost managed to score again apart from a lucky block that sent it over the bar its less football sim more sega outrun
Yeah, but Zenimax still owns Bethesda Studios and Zenimax's guys have turned Elder Scrolls Online into a complete **** tip. If it ain't broke and all that...
I agree mate, much preferred Fallout three. I'm going to start it again today, Not loving the forum at the minute as it will be a good distraction. I've not done Fallout 3 GOTY or New Vegas UA intentionally with the 4th being so far off, so looking to pick these up soon, the built in expansion packs and patches and new weapons should make it well worth it.
Doesn't bother me, ZeniMax Media was born out of Bethesda anyway. Love the last two fallout games way more than the Elder Scrolls anyway, Think Bethesda Studios did a great job on the fallout games and look forward to the next, couldn't care less when the next Elder Scrolls game is out, all I care about is Fallout.
I'd imagine there's a few like. You can have your Live on multiple consoles mate, I still have me 360 set up in the bedroom for Netflix etc and it runs off the Live Gold, was surprised you could do this considering how ****ing greedy Microsoft are!
Yeah I sold my old Xbox 360 and I have a battered old one I took from my brother that I've got stashed if I ever need to revisit any games, they'll only be £4 a game now pre-owned so might have a bash. I'm also surprised this is possible!
Never played Fallout 1 or 2 but Fallout 3 had me absolutely hooked after an initial couple of days where I didn't really get into it. For me a storyline in a game is just as important as all the graphics and high tech jibba jabba they put into games. I even enjoyed the widely slated COD ghosts because while the gameplay was poor, I actually enjoyed working my way through the story. All the Assassins Creed's too, top notch. I'm at uni atm and can't really afford a next gen console, when do people reckon the price will drop into the £250 range?
Is New Vegas a sequel to Fallout 3? I had always been under the impression that 3 was the most recent in the series.
Anyone played GTAV yet? The story, as always, out of this world. Online had such great potential, but was such a let down in the end.
Soon enough I think mate, they are doing FIFA 15 bundles for £329 now, I'd imagine there will be £299 bundles to maximise Christmas sales and stores will reduce these to around £250 for January. What is decent is second hand games prices, £15-30, so around used 360 levels when current. I'm up to about 12 games now, although I've not even put about 8 of them in the machine, ha. Forza was the big disappointment to date, looks incredible, but too ****ing easy, and the loading times are ridiculous. You lose interest waiting to play the ****er.
Finished it on the 360 mate, but it's not out next gen until November, when I will buy it again. Fantastic game, I just hope the next gen has done some magic with it.
That low already? Blimey it seems like only a couple of months ago all my mates were splashing out well over half a grand for one. Maybe I'll just ask for one big present instead of loads of crappy ones off my better half this Christmas Second hand games is definitely the way to go like, I always buy second hand unless it's one of those games that has an unlock code for online that can only be used once. Forza has always been one of the most overrated games to me, probably just because I'm terrible at it, but you seem to spend that much time just trying to stay on the track you can't actually get any enjoyment out of the racing. I'd imagine they will focus on the online play for next gen as the story mode was pretty much the pinnacle anyway, I don't really see how it could be improved that much.
GTA 5 is the daddy, I loved everything about that game, especially Trevor. I'll buy it again as soon as it's released on XB1
New Vegas is certainly the most recent one! It isnt an expansion pack, it is a game all on its own! It was canny, with some nice ideas and additional touches which improved on fallout 3, but the whole environment and storyline wasnt a patch on Fallout 3! I'm of the understanding that Fallout 1 & 2 were just point and click turn based games! There was no first person/3rd person about them! More strategy based I think!
