I've been watching a couple of episodes most nights so getting through it fairly quickly and my interest is being maintained. It does get a bit ****ing weird at times but by no means the weirdest thing I've seen this year, never mind at all I do know its going to get a lot weirder after season two too though, must be at least fourteen people that have said the same thing to me and no one as said any different
I'd hold your WTF's for alot later, wait till the series 4-6 to use them. Thats when it really gets strange and even more confusing. If you ever have any questions when you get to the end just ask, seen Lost 4 or 5 times, have a decent grip on certain things (although some of it will be forever mystery, written that way).
Big fan then? You're only about the third person I've spoken to that's admitted to making it beyond the third season No matter how weird it gets, I won't make a decision to just stop watching. However, should my interest drain then it may well just happen. Doesn't usually though as I always want to know what happens in the end. Watched a few things were my interest was dying but stuck with it. Walking Dead was a bit like it in the last season when they did about ten episodes focusing on the individual characters. Seemed like they had run out of material to me so needed to pad it out until the next season. The final couple of episodes picked up though.
I finished Lost, too. I'll always finish a series, once I've started it. I'm a stubborn git. It does get very surreal toward the end but it still keeps you interested. Still a very good series, but, as far as surreal goes, it's no Twin Peaks.
I am the same most of the time, but with a few exceptions. Lost was one of them. 24 the other. I stuck with Heroes like a stubborn fool in the hope it would reach the peak of season 1 again, and was let down.
Do you know any good cell biologists? Must have experience in mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, apoptosis or cell cycling assay, confocal microscopy and in vivo studies in an industry setting. Based Cambridge You are a biologist aren't you
Yeah, I know one or two. I probably qualify, too, as there's nothing there I haven't done or experienced (pretty standard cell culture skills profile). Unfortunately, no one I know is looking for a new position, ATM. Plus, I'm not massively keen on industry positions, if I'm honest. I prefer the protective cloisters of academia.
You're no ****ing help then. I have just had an application from someone called Attila who's Hungarian
Dont industry positions provide a ridiculously higher earning potential though? Guess thats the trade off for less job security
anyone been watching the Aussie show on Channel 5 on Tuesday's called Secrets and Lies. It's not bad. Second episode was last night so still easy to catch up online.
The Driver Three-parter on BBC1. Pretty decent, if predictable series set in Manchester. What the **** is Neil Morrissey (Our Day Out) doing playing a ****ing manc?
