Ex Rangers Manager Walter Smith's Bust

Any idea how this is going lads?

In case you are unaware Rangers fans were seeing if they could contribute as much money as they could for the proposed £18,000 it costs to create a Bronze Bust of the former manager's head.

It is to be placed in the stadium's marble staircase close to where legendary manager Bill Struth's bust now sits.

A great tribute to a superb manager.

 

Is there not going to be a rerelease of the single "Dignity" to raise money for it? To be honest I don't see why Rangers don't pay for it.

I didn't realise how expensive it was but yeah I'm sure the club could foot the bill. The idea was thought up before Whyte arrived so I'm sure that they'll cough up the rest of the £.

 

They were going to do Derek Johnston's bust but couldn't source enough marble.

 

Just as well its in bronze then.

 

Get Davie Murray to buy it, after all he did buy Walter 9-in-a-row.
