It reminds me of the time I was at Reading, and all of the success that I had there. That's what I'm going to talk about in this press conference. Go home Brian, you're drunk, and you aren't even our manager any more.

After a slip up at the weekend in Milanic's first game in charge, Leeds entertain Reading for the midweek game. A 2-0 loss on the road brought an end to a 4 game unbeaten run, and the fans will be hoping to get things back on track here, against a Reading side without a win in 3. Reading played their part in a high scoring 3-3 draw against Wolves at the weekend, raising questions over the defensive form of the Royals.

There are surprisingly few previous league matches between these two, and the spoils are shared exactly 50/50. Here comes the shocking statistic though, Leeds haven't beaten Reading in a league meeting in 8 fixtures, stretching back to the 2004/2005 season. Something needs to be done about that, and thanks to Mr Bean, we don't have the Tuesday night curse to contend with.

Milanic may choose to bring Berardi straight back into the defence that conceded 2 at the weekend, though calls are growing ever louder for Pearce to be dropped. Sharp and Sloth are still pushing for regular starts.

Key Stats

• Reading have won their last 4 matches against Leeds in all competitions.
• Leeds' good form came to an end on Saturday as they were beaten at Brentford.
• Three wins in four home games bodes well for United.
• Reading are showing signs of becoming tough to beat, with a late equaliser at Wolves on Saturday.

Darko has had a bit more time with the team now, and hopefully has explained that more is expected of them from the defeat at Brentford. The defence seemed solid under Redders, but Pearce still feels a liability. Reading are on a bad run at the minute, and this could be a good time to play them.

Which leads me onto...Cooper in for Pearce at the back, Berardi back in. Other than that keeping it reasonably similar to previous, think it will be the weekend before we see Montenegro, Adryan feature any part at all.

Will Darko make changes to the lineup? Should Captain Pearce be in the 11?
Is Berardi too much of a discipline risk at the minute?

Didnt Reading recently draw 3-3

Murray the dangerman in this one. Interesting to see how we line up and I would like to see Monty make a start and maybe Adyran from the bench.

Tough one, if it was an away game I would take a draw, but its important we win our home games if we are going to be there or there abouts, especially against teams like Reading who expect to be in the mix.

Great work damned. Ive gone for a Reading win but only cos I usually jinx results. One worrying thing for me, even over past five games, is Silvestri seems to be man of the match or near enough in every game. Suggests were poor even in games were winning, Huddersfield the obvious exception. Seems all the hype about Adryan may have been unfounded as he can't get a smell at first team football. If Milanic sees nothing in him, it'll look bad, that'll be the second coach not to play him

Both Adryan and Žan BenedičičI were supposed to be wonder kids and I am wondering when we shall get to see Dario Del Fabro and Montenegro as well, they must all be match fit by now so we can only assume they are failing to impress in training?

Great match thread again Damned <ok>

Pretty sure Berardi received a two match ban, this being the second of them, so Byram to continue at RB

Must stop this run we're on against Reading, it's embarrassing :embarrassed:

Predicted our defeat at Brentford correctly, but going for a Leeds win this time 2-1

Cheers guys <ok>

I wasn't sure if it was a 1 or 2 game ban on Berardi, so you could well be right on that. If so, Byram to continue as you say.

As for Adryan / Montenegro / Del Fabro they all played in the development game against QPR yesterday didn't they? Reports I've seen seem to be quite positive about them coming on, but wouldn't expect to see them play tomorrow. Possibly from the bench on Saturday?

Durham I'm sure Reading drew 3-3 with Wolves last time out. Am I losing the plot?

Our new coach is dead or alive depending on this result. I reckon that he'll be totally possed off about last weekend and think the players will have warmed to him by now. he will do something special, see a plan we've not thought about before, encourage sublime one touch football where Silvestri never sees the ball and we walk off the pitch to rapturous applause. 12-0 seems a good bet for this one, as long as none of BMcD's signing play.

Evening all. Can't see Beradi playing ahead of Byram unless all on here know more than me. Think this is where Milanic shows why he is a better choice than the Hock. One wonders whether or not Adryan and Montenegro might get either a game or at least a place on the bench.

Lets just hope that BMcD's old boys are not playing or on the bench, and for me I include Austin, Warnock and Tonge, but Warnock should have given us this form last season, so fook him and he goes into room 101 along with White, Hunt, Morison et al.

Good news is Nogoal Hunt is definitely out after picking up a knock in the U21's game vs QPR

Bad news is Zan Benedicic is also out after being head butted by Hunt in the same fixture <doh>

Good work on the thread again Damned <applause>

I'd really like a shake-up of the team for this game.

------------------Silvestri-----------------

Byram-----Bellusci----Pearce---Warnock

-------------Cook------Bianchi------------

Montenegro-------Sloth-----------Adryan

-----------------Doukara------------------

With basically both Cook and Bianchi holding and keeping possession of the ball, Montenegro, Sloth and Adryan all rotating freely with Doukara providing pace and power upfront and running channels. Obviously this won't happen because both Monty and Adryan played in the youth game so unlikely to play here.

Interesting looking team that, Josh. I do like the idea of us being able to go 4-2-3-1, and I suppose there would even be scope to push the CAM up a bit, and use a combination of Antenucci/Doukara with one playing slightly off the other
