Yeah of course it was ... apart from his body being level. It was probably the right decision in the end, but as Murray said, it could quite easily have been given the other way. There have been many an offside goal given that were far more clear than the Nolan decision yesterday
I've just had Radio 5 live on because I'm trying to work and listen to the football, but that whining c**t Alan Green is moaning about the Portuguese commentator sitting near him, the fact that the commentary stand is up too high, he's cold and nobody has offered him a cup of tea. f** me, nobody gives a s**t about that Alan. Right, I'm gonna find a link for the City v Roma game
Jeez, what a combo that would be. Dennis Taylor and Alan Green commentating. All you need is to throw in Mark Lawrenson and it's practically a party
After making a meal of beating the minnows in there group, Liverpool play Basel next in there favourable CL group. I'm thinking they will get the three points tonight.
Remember Liverpool fans talking **** when Munich knocked us out and how Liverpool would at least make a fight out of in Europe unlike Arsenal....And now they go on to lose against Basel.
Liverpools loss opens them up to a really difficult group now. They have double games against Real Madrid now and Basel will have a chance to put some distance between them.
Some of the groups are looking really interesting, could be some surprise names in the knockout phase.
They play Madrid back-back as well, could very possibly end with 1 point out of 4, which would make it really really difficult for them, can see them beating Madrid at Anfield though.
