Since Riise was in his prime we've struggled at LB. Moreno for me is similar to Riise, likes to get forward and has a decent sht on him (plenty of power). I don't think he has defensive flaws, I think he's simply adjusting to a new league - This time next year he could potentially be one of the best LB's around. For me Moreno is by far the better of the two and for £12 mil could be one of the bargains of the season. Manquillo does deserve huge credit though for the way he's settled in considering he hardly played a game last season. As much as I like Flanno, these 2 youngsters deserve to keep their places when Flanno and Johnson are fit. Once Johnson ****s off we'll have 2 good FB's for each side.
Last season a lot of our goals came due to Johnson joining the attack a lot from RB. (and conceding goals) It doesnt seem quite right with Mankiller being a defence RB rather than an attacking one.
With Johnson apparently on his way in January, I can't see it. Mankiller's attacking potency is gradually increasing with games. Apart from the blinder he scored, Moreno needs to work on his shooting and when to do it. I like him a lot, though.
